  1. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/09/09/donald-trump-nominated-nobel-peace-prize/ Love him or hate him, this is a significant world event that his administration brokered.
  2. Did you happen to see the nomination? I think it's pretty clear he deserves at least a nomination.
  3. I’m not so sure. I live in the burbs and have more conservative friends than liberal.
  4. So if that’s our future, maybe having a few guns in the garage is a good thing huh?
  5. Maybe they wouldn’t be if they didn’t have that backstop?
  6. Has anyone seriously brought this discussion to the table?
  7. I see, federally the Democrats wouldn’t want that. I hear you.
  8. What is the value of being a single country if we can’t have a unified direction anyway. We fight with each other on every single thing and nothing gets accomplished. Makes sense to me to start forming new alliances. I’d get the hell out of Minnesota if that were the case, assuming the lines would be drawn on the current state lines, which wouldn’t make the most sense. Outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota is much more similar to the Dakotas.
  9. I do think we are close as a country to an actual split though, however that takes place. It’s pretty amazing that it’s stayed together as long as it has really.
  10. I’m no expert on these things, so how would that work? Would they have their own leadership and draft a new constitution?
  11. Interesting, I’ve subscribed to that inevitability for the United States for many years and agree, the process seems to be speeding up. Will it be possibly for the states to amicably split do you think? Who will be the first to break away?
  12. Good question, by we I suppose I mean a combination of the media and local governments.
  13. Serious question, all things being equal, in your opinion would we have responded the same way to the coronavirus if it wasn’t an election year?
  14. Without taking it one by one with each allegation, I’ll just say this, it seems that the FBI for some reason had a serious bias against trump even before the election. Their text messages are unequivocal in this sense. I think this bias lead to them deciding from the beginning they would be digging deep and being hypercritical of his every move. I believe that if every president in my lifetime would have been investigated to the same standards that we would be equally upset with the ethical standards they held themselves to.
  15. So clever, you must be proud.
  16. Truth seems to be in the eye of the beholder based on all the half truths you just posted above.
  17. Maybe you should find a photo of Clinton with his famous cigar.
  18. I say the media has lost credibility with the public, which is demonstrably true, and you think that makes me a lemming? You’ve lost touch with reality.
  19. I first became interested in politics in the late 90’s(I was born in the 80’s). By the time I was old enough to know what was going on, Clinton had made a complete mockery of the office.
  20. And can you think of a reason that might be? They’ve thrown so much sh$t at the wall, hoping something might stick, that they’ve run out of credibility.
  21. I’m not surprised at all you see it the way you do with Trump, obviously you believe all of the allegations leveled against him during his presidency. I guess you’ll have to use your vote to speak your mind in November, I’ll do the same.
  22. I’m not sure we can go back to every politician to the beginning of time with my statement, but yeah, I’d argue pretty successfully that damn near every modern high ranking politician is ethically and morally corrupt.
  23. Yep, the bitter end, January 2025.
  24. All of our opinions are worthless. Yours moreso than most.
