  1. Who is the bottom pictures supposedly describing? I know a ton more left leaning folks who are 5G, Bill Gates and Vaccine “fearers” than right leaning people.
  2. Isn't this more fun than your usual MO in posting. You're actually presenting an opinion and defending it and it's been 3-4 posts since you insulted someone. Maybe this is a new Hayduke1?
  3. This is where you have no idea what you are talking about. Of course people support the ideas, what they don't support when you actually look into the details is how to accomplish such things. You know, those pesky little real world details. I'm gonna take a poll of americans and see who supports everybody getting 10k a year from their employer to take a 2 week Caribbean vacation. Wonder what percentage of people would support that?
  4. As a practical matter, this would be infinitely more effective than most masks I see because everybody would definitely stay 6+ feet away from this guy.
  5. What world do you live in where you actually believe that over half the country supports the green new deal?
  6. But he did endorse your candidate and spoke at the DNC, so his credibility is absolutely relevant in current events.
  7. A politician made a misleading statement? I just simply cannot believe such upstanding folks would stoop to such a level as to mislead the American people.
  8. "You guys want evidence that my opinion is correct? Here's one other guy on the internet that agrees with me"
  9. Hayduke is simply a product of today's internet culture. He thinks posting a meme and name calling is an actual argument/discussion point. I see it all the time and it is the opposite of what is necessary to further an important conversation.
  10. Yet another valuable contribution to the conversation.
  11. You have zero leg to stand on when critiquing how clever and original someone’s responses are.
  12. Exactly. The real disease is the identity policies that have normalized being able to assume stereotypes. When I grew up, I was encouraged to judge each person on their actions individually. It seems we have gotten further away from individual identities and it is very harmful.
  13. If I could like this 1000x, I would. Fear of someone is all in how they are presenting themselves, right or wrong. If I see a person who is well groomed, walking tall and confident and making eye contact, I’m not fearful. In the absence of those things, I’m keeping my eyes on you for any quick movements and I’ll react accordingly. (Notice how I didn’t mention race, these are universal truths and we are hardwired genetically to see certain dress patterns, posture and body language to obtain cues about trust and fear)
  14. I’m sure Donald Trump made all the production decisions for this ad. This guy must be a Russian asset.
  15. Why is it that it is acceptable to attribute racist thoughts to people based on your wild hypothetical scenario with literally zero proof to back it up. We’ve never had a black candidate in the social climate of 2016-2020 act like Trump, so how can you possibly invoke the race card for something that hasn’t happened and for that matter could never happen. Trump caught lightning in a bottle and came along at the only time in history, likely, that his rhetoric would have been effective.
  16. Sure it’s technically illegal, but then why are sports personalities openly criticizing Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving for signing off on a white guy?
  17. Fair point. So then when minorities in positions of power are encouraged to hire other minorities(see the recent kickback the nets players received for choosing a white guy) what should we call that?
  18. Wealth begets wealth, to attribute it to race is insulting to many white people who come from nothing.
  19. This is the trouble when a conspiracy gets packaged all under a headline of a specific name. QAnon in this case. There are likely, from my view, parts of this that are true and part that aren't. So to call it all crazy is going too far, but yeah, I haven't seen anything to indicate Trump is on some sort of crusade to eliminate this underground ring.
  20. If there is an underground sexual assault/pedophile ring in hollywood that has slowly come to light in the last few years, is it really that big of a stretch to think it could be happening elsewhere?
  21. That's an odd argument. He's a republican now, I don't see how his previous political affiliation would be relevant in this situation.
  22. If you were Trump, would you want the people who have overblown his every move for the last 4 years and tried with everything they have to get anything possible to stick to him to have your tax returns? I don't blame him for a second.
  23. Do you honestly believe Donald Trump will see the inside of a jail cell? C'mon.
  24. Multiple causes of death or not, It doesn’t doesn’t change the fact that being born is more risky than Covid. Its time to move on from this, it’s been time for months. The math simply does not support continued business and school closures/changes.
  25. And for those who say to follow the science, where is the groundbreaking study that came out that indicates we have been handling infectious diseases wrong for the last couple of centuries? If it's all about the science, surely there was new information that came to light that quarantining the healthy population was a better approach than simply quarantining the sick people.
