  1. Just to clarify, won't the game be at 4pm Phoenix time? I thought that Arizona doesn't observe daylight saving time, so after the time change, won't they be 3 hrs. behind Eastern time? I've been checking into this as I will be in the Phoenix area next week also.
  2. Kind of makes you wonder if the NCAA will make sure this doesn't happen again. Wasn't this the first time in several years that the WCHA had a team in each regional?
  3. Do you get a -2 when you get burned for a shorty the way Harrington was burned by Spirko?

  5. Here's a link from an article in the Boston University newspaper, where they state that UND has won 6 national titles: Dogs to play North Dakota EDIT: Sorry, it looks like that link is password protected. Here's a link from yahoo: Yahoo story
  6. My guess: East (Worcester) BC vs. Mercyhurst UND vs. BU West (Minneapolis) Minnesota vs. Maine Cornell vs. Wisconsin Northeast (Amherst) CC vs. Bemidji New Hampshire vs. Ohio St. Midwest (Grand Rapids) Denver vs. Colgate Michigan vs. Harvard
  7. Doesn't Boston University get placed in the East Regional in Worcester as the host school? I thought I read that on USCHO.
  8. The Sioux actually get some love from INCH! http://www.insidecollegehockey.com/7Archiv...w/potw_0327.htm
  9. This league also has a team named the "Smoke Eaters".
  10. I was at the Sioux Falls Stampede game tonight in Sioux Falls, and they displayed the Warroad score on the scoreboard, along with Oshie's stats for the game. They also mentioned that he will be in the lineup for Sioux Falls on Sunday.
  11. Speaking of sportsmanship, what's with MacMurchy skating around the ice while the Sioux players are being introduced? He did it both nights this weekend. Not showing any respect for his opponents if you ask me.
  12. Fox has 3 channels dedicated to college sports. I can get them on my digital cable package. It's pretty nice as they air some college hockey games from the CCHA, in addition to Gophers and Badgers games.
  13. All those people need to do is watch the replay of the AHL All-Star game to get a very clear reminder of how big of a loss it was losing those two. (Or check out the AHL stats.)
  14. Trying to watch the game on Dataflix. The quality is pretty bad. I did get to hear a local reporter interview Sioux coach Dave "Haskel". I wonder if he's any relation to Eddie.
  15. Jason Blake article from Tuesday's Fargo Forum

Any word on Brady Murray playing this weekend?
  17. I've been wondering the same exact thing this season. I bet on average we waste about a third of every power play setting up behind the net. Of course, this wouldn't be as much of an issue if we could just hold the zone better on the power play.
  18. Thanks for the info Sal. If you could please post a link to the obituary, I'm sure everybody on this board would be very interested.
  19. Interesting note from that article regarding the bonus points: Bonus Time We know there is a bonus component to the criteria, the NCAA's tweak to the system which rewards "good" nonconference wins. Without official word on the size of the bonuses, we take these numbers: .003 for a good road win, .002 for a good neutral win and .001 for a good home win. Does anything change? Absolutely. North Dakota moves all the way up to No. 9 from No. 14, all by its lonesome. That pushes UNH, UML, Cornell and Ohio State down one spot in the seedings.
  20. I wonder why they wouldn't air both night's games. Won't they be taking a crew out there anyway?
  21. Don't they hang banners in Mariucci for Final Five titles?
