Stefan Matteau reportedly quit on his QMJHL team after being benched for the entire third period of a playoff game after taking a bad penalty. Today, it was announced that he has officially been released from the team. Yes, he's talented but I think UND may have dodged a bullet here.

NTDP hasn't officially announced his signing yet, and hey have announced a good portion of the roster already. I guess we'll see. Evers tweeted: "Thanks for all of the congratulations and the support. I can't wait to see how things play out in the next couple of years."
