  6. Senior tribute episode of Through These Doors, fast-forward to the 5:03 mark Sure you'll have guys like JT Miller and Stefan Matteau that would have been one-and-done to get to the NHL as soon as possible, but I do think most players tend to shift their goal to winning a National Championship and worrying about the NHL later
  7. Via twitter, Chris Wilkie has been picked up by the Tri-City Storm Also, Luke Voltin has been traded to the Lincoln Stars
  8. New goalie recruit - Humboldt Broncos goalie Matt Hrynkiw commits http://www.sjhl.ca/n...errer_id=630895 Article with quotes from Hrynkiw http://www.discoverhumboldt.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=3339&Itemid=173

  10. Via Schlossman Unfortunately we've heard that before and it didn't end well. I'll be cautiously optimistic until he's actually on campus. Back in March I thought Wilkie was for sure gone to the WHL based on some of his twitter activity.
  11. Speaking of, Nolan Patrick was just selected 4th overall in the WHL Bantam Draft by the Brandon Wheat Kings
  12. St.Cloud's Nick Jensen (Junior) has signed with the Detroit Red Wings https://twitter.com/...979582130307072
  13. Grimaldi was on Steve's Sports Saturday radio show this morning. It was a nice interview - talks about why he chose UND, addresses recent off-ice incidents, reflects on past two seasons, and talks about the future. Podcast can be found here - hour 2, starts around 20:00 mark
  14. Ausmus is still uncommitted. He is currently in Russia playing for Team USA at the World Under-18 Championship so he probably won't commit somewhere for another week or two. Forwards: Luke Johnson, Adam Tambellini, Wade Murphy
  15. No, there were a few others handed out. I just posted about Sioux recruits. The rest are on the Pentiction Vees twitter account
  16. The Penticton Vees announced team awards tonight... Robert Skinner Courage Award - Troy Stecher Best Defenseman Award - Troy Stecher Most Valuable Player - Troy Stecher Leading Scorer - Wade Murphy Stecher played the last 5 games of the season with a separated shoulder
  17. Danny Kristo has been named to Team USA for the World Championship (May 3-19 in Helsinki) http://www.undsports...TCLID=207421061
  18. Yes, they're college kids having a good time, but I would really hate to see Hakstol put in a position where he may end up having to suspend Gothberg, or worse, boot him off the team. How many strikes does he get? The team is already short a goalie. What worries me is that Springfest is next weekend. Let's hope the coaches have a nice chat with the team this week.
  19. Definitely not the kind of news we want to see... Men's hockey players lose scholarship money for after season violations
  20. Troy Stecher is a finalist for the first ever CJHL Top Defenseman Award
  21. It's official, Steve Rohlik is the new head coach at Ohio State http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/sports/m-hockey/spec-rel/042413aaa.html
  22. NHL Central Scouting's Final Rankings of North American Skaters 42 - Adam Tambellini 53 - Keaton Thompson 96 - Luke Johnson Of note: Gage Ausmus (148)
  23. Via College Hockey News Hmm... I thought Gwoz would have been a nice fit at OSU. Maybe they couldn't afford him.
  24. Regular Season - 40 pts in 69 games (19G, 21A), -14, 18 PIM Playoffs (so far) - 4 pts in 8 games (1G, 3 A), +1, 0 PIM http://www.tigershockey.com/roster/show/id/10233
