If Kangas is playing...6-2 Sioux, but I was thinking that if Frazee started anyways

"Wow! What a great stop UND's top-line and they are beatable mind." 4-2 UND win with no points from the top line. That is why PA (and Dubay) are worhtless from 9-12 during the week. Talk about 2 that drink that Cities kool-aid.

They are too busy this weekend working on economic developement, educational issues, healthcare iss...

Agree because it is difficult to score when you are not in the ice

Have season tickets in 110. I didn't take my 7 year old daughter last night but am tonight. There were 2 drunk 20+ year olds in front of us last night...one of each sex. The gal was more of an idiot than the guy but the guy was one of the clowns throwing stuff on the ice. I told them I'll be back tomorrow and if they are back as well one screw up and I'd have them both tossed out as I'm not going to have my daughter subjected to such morons.

If UND gets any offense generated before the 3rd period tonight, this one is going to be ugly. Frazee looked aweful once we put some shots on net. He was giving up rebounds late in the game all over the place. I'm hoping for a 7-2, 8-3 game tonight. But a win any way we get it is fine.

Few comment from the REA last night. 1) Great win anytime you beat the Gophs. 2) UND looked a least a step slow most of the night. Especially Oshie who would turn it on in spurts. I think he is more dinged up then we know. Gritty effort again. 3) Worst game I've seen Bina play in a long time and LaPointe looked like a freshman last night. 4) Finley and Malone brought the physicality that the Sioux needed. 5) Kiap line was most consistant offensively all night. 6) As usual, refs were consistantly inconsistant...both ways. 7) How does JPL not get mentioned regularly as one of, if not the top goalie in the WCHA. Was again terrific tonight. 8) I know this has been mentioned but the student section was pathetic. I was embarrassed. If the Sioux can play 2 (want 3 though) periods like the 3rd last night, they will hang a least a 6 pack on Long Island. He looks to be fighting the puck on every shot. I think the Gophs played their game last night and the Sioux roll tonight--6-2.

Glad to hear Genoway is back, but suprised he'll be on the blue line. Marto has looked good for the most part and Martens hasn't shown much offensively. None the less, Genoway is highly skilled and will help this weekend. Possibly Jones sits??

There is a big part of your answer to this issue...education, but you have to be willing to be educated. And a good friend of mine taught at Standing Rock H. S. and he said most didn't want to become educated because that is perceived as being "white" on the res.

Well said. And frankly this is the same philosophy that has kept Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton at the front of the balck community for years and years.

Agree with your above comments, but the problem that I, and probably most UND supporters of the nickname, have is the fact that the "real issues" are so obvious except to those who are dealing with those issues. It is like trying to convince a drug addict he/she has a problem. Sometimes "those" kind of folks will never see the "real issues" and deal with them appropriately.

belittle (v.): to regard as less important than appearences indicate; cause to seem less serious. Seems from your original post in this thread, belittle fits the point you were trying to make about the quotes you posted on how some NAs handle their business?? By the way, sorry dad. I'll act better next time

Good one. My turn in this word(s) association game...Um, Um...laziness. Your turn. Edit: I see you switched denial to apathy. You lose a turn if you use denial again

B-4...BINGO!! We have a winner!

Don't agree with the marketing of the T-shirt, but Mr. Orr makes some valid points. Are casinos detrimental to today's society? I think that a valid argument can be made that they are. Or at least as valid as the anti-Sioux nickname folks argument is for getting rid of the nickname/logo. It is always interesting to see/hear a group protest "something", but then in turn use that "something" in their own terms to benefit them.

They'll get 2 in the 3rd on Fri. to bring the score to 6-2 and a late one on Sat. to get it to 4-1 Pop away!

But that stat didn't even take into account the Finley slash!

Same sentiments from most Sioux fans!!

Pretty soon we'll read about a book burning of Moby-Dick because some guy named Richard is offened by the title. Maybe it's just me, but when you meet a Richard, who prefers to be called Dick, why is he usually a dick??
