I hope for everyone's sake that when Braden plays again he is the FCS version of ARog and frankly 2 quarters vs. Mines is a small sample size. Marcus' stats are what they are thru 3 games...great, maybe not by some, but good enough to be in some elite company in the FCS QB conversation. IF Braden can prove to be better...that will great for this team, but Marcus IS the reason this team is where it is despite no running game and a D that is suspect at best.

Impressive especially when you take into account the lack of the Dickinson St. methodology in enrollment accounting!

I missed the Mines game so personally I've not seen Braden play. Excited to see him though based on the glowing reviews when the opportunity presents again tho.

No offense but giving up 42 and looking like a Pop Warner D was the difference in the game...period. Don't cloud the issue because of the pick 6. Bad play and throw...yes but seriously!

From a locker room standpoint Muss will get some raised eyebrows then. Marcus has stuck w this program even when things didn't go his way. Now the "anointed one" still gets the start even if Marcus sizzles again? Muss would def have a pair to do that IMO and possibly at the sake of some friction w in the locker room. Teammates for 3,4 5 yrs will no doubt have Marcus' back should he carve up Sac St.

So if Marcus continues his hot play and throws for 300+ yards and 3-4 TDs and gets win Saturday, Hanson get start vs. Cal Poly? Hypothetical scenerio I know but just don't see how Muss could make change if Marcus lights it up again.

It won't matter who plays QB from here on out if some other issues aren't addressed quickly.

We tackle at 60% of the time and we win last Saturday too. Marcus, even at less than 60%, has been far from one of the big issues that face this team at this point and time.

Or being smart and going with the red hot hand in Marcus!

This just in...the "C" and the 3 "A"s suspended for the season hockey opener by Faison for a party incident that took place on 9/15. Least we know one AD in this state has a pair! In any situation, accountablility starts at the top and trickles down...the AC might won't to make note of this at some point.

Things seemed to work out ok for Brian Kelly jumping to a lower end FCS to start with. He's an exception I know.

Seems to me based on the experts and those in the know around here Hanson starts this week if healthy and put "W" in the column for our BS opener. If he is that much better than what Marcus has given us the last two games next week's game shoukd be a formality?!?!?

And this has to do with what? Doesn't take someone who played college football to understand a fundamental skill for any defensive FB player is tackling. I assume u played in college? U then should have a clue that if this D plays and tackles like it has last 2 weeks it's going be a wasted season...period. And u don't think the poor tackling issue needs or should be addressed in practice?

"Can't waste valuable practice time"?? Did u watch the last 2 games? Tackling without question was the main reason we lost last night and was the reason we almost lost vs PSU. If it's not fixed it'll cost us at a minimum 2 more games. Schemes and coverages won't produce jack if we don't bring someone's a88 to the ground once in awhile.

"We're talking bout practice, man...practice...we're talking bout practice." If Muss comes out and says he based his decision who starts this week on "practice" I will definitely know he is in way over his head.

If many of you like Muss for his conservative, smart, close to the vest, playing the percentages coaching style in his decision making...starting Hanson doesn't fly then.

Both U Dub and SDSU will play in bowl games...CSU will not.

Based on his former FBS status? His 2 quarters of play vs. a transition D2 school? I didn't see the Mines game and not saying he isn't better but how does one bench Marcus?
