belittle (v.): to regard as less important than appearences indicate; cause to seem less serious.
Seems from your original post in this thread, belittle fits the point you were trying to make about the quotes you posted on how some NAs handle their business??
By the way, sorry dad. I'll act better next time
Good one. My turn in this word(s) association game...Um, Um...laziness. Your turn.
Edit: I see you switched denial to apathy. You lose a turn if you use denial again
Don't agree with the marketing of the T-shirt, but Mr. Orr makes some valid points. Are casinos detrimental to today's society? I think that a valid argument can be made that they are. Or at least as valid as the anti-Sioux nickname folks argument is for getting rid of the nickname/logo. It is always interesting to see/hear a group protest "something", but then in turn use that "something" in their own terms to benefit them.
Pretty soon we'll read about a book burning of Moby-Dick because some guy named Richard is offened by the title. Maybe it's just me, but when you meet a Richard, who prefers to be called Dick, why is he usually a dick??
I got 3 words for you: PA-THE-TIC. This is why I choose to live here in the state of ND where political correctness is not real prevelent...especially when it comes to nicknames, logos and such
When you look up in the Urban dictionary the word TOOL--there is a big FAT picture of Puffy. Where is this clown's credentials for being a hockey analyst or sports analyst in general?? Because he was bat boy for the Twins? There is no bigger homer in all of sport's talk radio in this region and that's why I refuse to listen to KFAN from 9-12. He knocks everything that is not "the Cities". Can't wait to hear his fat wimpering mouth make excuses for the Gophs getting swept this weekend. And he can save me the BS that Vikes are going to make a playoff run. Maybe they will but they still suck and I could not think of anything better, other than a sweep this weekend, than Favre and the Pack laying another woodshed beating on the Vikes at Lambeau during the playoffs!!
DU was in a similar boat stats-wise. 0-fer when giving up 3 or more goals and undefeated when giving up less than 3 and that's how it turn out this past weekend. Throw out numbers if you want, but Frazee is giving up just under 3 a game on average. If UND scores 3 or more goals each night, I'ld be shocked if they lose a game this weekend.
If the report that there was NO structural damage via a MRI is accurate from last week, that would suprise me. Now I hope whoever leaked that info on the MRI results knows a break in a bone IS structural damage (and a MRI is not used for that type of diagnosis)?? And never take the word "probably" in the literal sense from someone not in the medical field as it relates to the health status of a player. That's like taking parenting advice from Britney Spears!!
If he played thru whatever injury it is/was last night, you can take it to the bank he'll be available this coming weekend. More concerned about Genoway and his availability.
