2021-2022 season two Fr. were in top six in total points on the team. One was gone, off the roster after his So. season. One combining his So. and Jr. season point totals didn't equal his Fr. point total. Seems hard to blame everything on either players for how their productivity at UND evolved. So again I'll ask.....where's the pursuit of development?

Does reading comprehension elude you? Where did I make the comparison between the two for the 22-23 season. Constantini was bad that season. That's been acknowledged. Hopefully Schmaltz can double his point total from this season next season.....which would still not have him reach his Fr point total. You see what I did there??

To answer your question....yes. To the bolded part......Schmaltz says "Hold my beer". Again what's the difference? Schmaltz had ONE goal all season yet was on the ice plenty down the stretch vs MI when the team needed a goal to tie it up. Not bashing Schmaltz but......I'm obviously missing something between Constantini and him.

Both Moore and Constantini had bad seasons in 2022-2023. Both had good seasons this past one. Schmaltz grossly underachieved this like Constantini did. One is coming back. One was told to get lost.

At least Schmaltz had more goals than you this past season. ......and you've followed Albrecht's career? Long leash is obviously better than a short one at UND.

A single shift....that's the criteria now? Obviously he wasn't a "culture" guy.

Had the same experiences at The Spud and Up North a few weeks ago. Service in general everywhere is subpar.

Sickies was a huge loss. You can look no further than to St Paul for the reason why.

High end talent rises to the top.....unless it is suffocated and held back.

Not a money grab? The AD sells playoff tickets to every season ticket holder whether one wants them or not. They potentially could be sitting on the pile of prepaid playoff cash for years! NCHC hockey quarterfinal tickets you at least have the ability to sell and recoup your money. I couldn't give away FB tickets this season when we had a schedule conflict. The secondary argument is they get a home playoff game and actually win and get a second one. What's the procedure to secure tickets for that one? Oh wait......nevermind.

Hockey to FB comparison is apples to oranges as you mentioned. This is a money grab by the AD....plain and simple. If you're a FB season ticket holder for any length of time you know the drill for home playoff tickets. It's not complicated. You miss out on ticket that's on you. This puts the responsibility solely on the ticket holder and absolves the AD from any responsibility. It's pathetic the more I analyze it. What if the playoff game is Thanksgiving Saturday. Why should I or anyone be on the hook for tickets if one can't use them because of holiday plans? And for the record you could have walked up to the ticket window 15 minutes before kickoff for any playoff game during Bubba's pathetic run and get tickets.

So season ticket renewals are available starting today. Everyone will be charged for tickets upfront for a home playoff game for the 2024 season. If no playoff game in 2024 then those dollars are carried over for a potential 2025 home playoff game. Ridiculous IMO. One should have the option to buy playoff tickets....not be forced to buy and prepay for those tickets. Based on the schedule there is minimal chance of making the playoffs much less hosting. Just another money grab.

If he gets to UND as a first round draft pick as a center BB plays him as top 6 as a center. Not a wing. Not a 3rd center. Let him cook! Don't bury him behind portal guys or 5th year guys.

James should be top 6 over Kunz. Swanson is not big but he's got elite top end skill. No way Berry has Schmaltz and the 5th on the 4th line. Zero chance. Do the names Hain and Senden ring a bell??

For DU to win that natty to get to 10 without a nap room, anti gravity beds, the Penrose and a portal goalie is pretty impressive.
