At this stage in FCS shouldn't UND be able to garner enough respect to be a preseason top 25 team every year? The lack of national respect is telling.....and for good reason. 6 MVC teams in top 25.

Not disagreeing with some rankings but UND is nowhere to found. Would having UND being ranked at #22 be any better? Look at some of those schools in the top 25. What's going to be the continued excuses? Coach's pay? Locker rooms? Facilities?

Force you to buy meaningless playoff FB tickets this coming season that will get rolled over for how many years? Before you know it you'll be required to have a shot or two to enter the Alerus. Wait....nevermind.

The competition for the entertainment dollar coupled with unchecked inflation and supply and demand for UND athletics makes it easy for someone to forgo season tickets. We kept all our hockey tickets for next year but cut our FB tickets in half. I could easily see us not getting any FB season tickets and cutting our hockey tickets in half for 2025-2026.

No discussion on bringing back the NODAK hockey jerseys? They're fire and BB loves em!

The bolded 6 are your high skill high ceiling guys. The other 3 are a solid 3rd line but then Strinden gets buried another year.

If Boisvert gets less quality minutes as a first round draft pick than a 5th year portal guy than the "chippas" (trademark @gfhockey) might be looking elsewhere in the future.

So Wilkie and Kunz top 6? Who with better skill and talent with a higher ceiling do you bury down the depth chart? This top 9 is not happening cause there is zero chance Schmaltz and V get 4th line minutes.

Nope.....can't keep burying Perron in favor of Kunz. Kunz has 30 total points so far in his career at UND. Again DU had 11 guys with 30+ points this past season. Just for one season I'd like to see this coaching staff let their top talent roll. Let them develop together.

Agree. Was a non factor. His first couple shifts were decent but after that wasn't noticeable at all.

Not the first time I've seen him play this season this kid is something. Vision and passing skills are top notch. He's a legit top 6 and top PP unit guy as soon as he steps foot in the Ralph.

2021-2022 season two Fr. were in top six in total points on the team. One was gone, off the roster after his So. season. One combining his So. and Jr. season point totals didn't equal his Fr. point total. Seems hard to blame everything on either players for how their productivity at UND evolved. So again I'll ask.....where's the pursuit of development?

Does reading comprehension elude you? Where did I make the comparison between the two for the 22-23 season. Constantini was bad that season. That's been acknowledged. Hopefully Schmaltz can double his point total from this season next season.....which would still not have him reach his Fr point total. You see what I did there??

To answer your question....yes. To the bolded part......Schmaltz says "Hold my beer". Again what's the difference? Schmaltz had ONE goal all season yet was on the ice plenty down the stretch vs MI when the team needed a goal to tie it up. Not bashing Schmaltz but......I'm obviously missing something between Constantini and him.
