Not sure where this shoud go...but what a great recent story by WDAZ on Kauk. I remember Gretzky and Kauk would come to our pool table in the Union at lunch everyday and visit and even shoot a game with us from time to time. He's put on a few pounds since those days but still see him at UND FB and hockey when we go.

Have seen all these bands...Skid Row was awful. Def was with 2 armed and one armed drummer. Stryper was solid. The Scorpions was so loud I was bleeding from my ears! Now it's mostly One Direction...

In pro sports with coaches being more disposable than players, pro coaches will put up with a lot BS from players if the player can actually PLAY! Winning is paramount and pro coaches know that and they generally don't sit players what will help them win on a nightly basis. Ballard didn't play regularly in Vancouver because he can't play. So the Wild have Cooke for Cullen and we have Ballard for Gilbert basically...not sure how that improves them one bit.

Family has property 5 minutes from arena. Very nice venue w good seats always available!! Kind of nice to sneak in 18 then head over for a game in shorts and flip flops when it's -20 in the RRV.
