There are many here, including myself, that are not fans of the logo but fully understand the need to have it visible at mid field/court/ice. Yet what is ironic is those, including myself, who have suggested that logo be at the 50 yard line have been given one BS line and excuse after another as to why it CAN'T be there. The hypocrisy of some here is mind numbing. I contacted a buddy who works in Arizona with these types of fields/turfs. He said to remove a logo and then add a different one takes time but isn't complicated or impossible as some here suggest. If MK needs to negotiate w McGarry on the mid ice/court logo issues then let's see if he has stones to take on those sponsors calling the shots for the Alerus and get the logo at the 50 yard line for this season. #inthebestinterests

Who would have thought it would be more complicated to put the FH logo at the 50 in the AL than it would be to get that large FH logo tattoo on your back removed?

BTW...........so sponsors can have a say if and where to logo goes but UND's biggest donor can't? ....and I'll call your BS on the turf issue argument you are trying present.

So under your scenario that hockey would playing in the old barn and FB as it currently is at the Al.............................which program today would still be the bigger source of revenue and needing to "help" the other sport programs?

Ahhhhhhhhhh..........so it really isn't then about the loss of the 52% ticket sales the REA is getting from FB? It really comes down to some here want the FB to get what's theirs at 100% then get some of the hockey dollars too. ......and to be honest I'm good with that. Let's just not try to have some of you here mask what you are really asking for. The 52% argument is a smoke screen at this point.

Might be an easy fix at this point in time is for each program, FB and hockey, just to sustain itself on it's own via total revenue generated and donations. Pretty sure the hockey program can make of go of it this way and the FB program would get a huge boost by capturing all their ticket revenue at 100% and whatever other revenue dollars that can be accounted for from that program. Might be too simplistic but maybe it could work.
