I know these might be difficult to come by, but thought I would ask here regardless.
I would be looking for at least 2, at most 4. If anyone has some that they would be willing to sell, it would be greatly appreciated.
For either or both games.
Thanks!
What are you smoking?
Stafford led the team in scoring last season (48 points and 24 goals...including 7 shorties) and you're trying to tell us that he only showed up against the lower teams?
VandeVelde may develop into a great player for the Sioux, and I have noticed that his play has improved greatly in the past few weeks, but he isn't at the level of Spirko...yet.
Agreed. The lines seem to be generating a decent amount of chances, but they either get stuffed by the goalie or the pipe. Clank. Time for some puck luck.
Agreed.
That place was going insane when he scored that OT winner against Dubbie.
I remembered being worried, as I had purchased my F5 tickets a few months before that series, and wanted to see the Sioux there (even though it ended up just being for the play-in game).
Nice win, Sioux. That article from earlier this week talking about Winona's great defense is suddenly a bit more funny now.
Chappell, wow, what a game!
But we don't know if he was held out for injury reasons or if he was just a healthy scratch for the trip.
It could be that he just had an off week of practice. I'm not reading too much into the fact that he didn't travel with the team to UAA.
We're getting pretty full at forward too IMO.
Gone for sure:
Porter
Fabian
Maybe gone:
Toews
Oshie
Coming in for sure:
Trupp
Hamilton
Malone
Hextall
And we already have great competition for that 3rd/4th line. I can only imagine how much better the competition would be if we brought in another forward for 07.
No problem.
I am still saving my pennies for the roadtrip to UAA, hopefully *crosses fingers* next season. Sue has promised me a night out on the town.
How are the SeaWolves looking this season? Still blocking shots all over the place? That's the main thing I remember from last year's UND/UAA series in Anchorage...a bunch of blocked shots for UAA.
I watched some of the UAA/UW webcast. The SeaWolves looked faster than I remembered them being last season...
