  1. Nice, right after they killed off the 5x3 PK and it went to 5x4.
  2. Ouch, they made it sound like it wasn't too long-term. I guess not. 13 Mike Gornall 16 Brock Boeser 18 Chris Wilkie 19 Shane Gersich 21 Danys Chartrand 22 Rhett Gardner 24 Christian Wolanin 25 Joel Janatuinen 28 Hayden Shaw 31 Matej Tomek A few notes about the numbers: None of the returning players changed numbers.Goalies continue to stay away from No. 1. The last to wear it was Jean-Philippe Lamoureux in 2007-08.Now that Wade Murphy has left, No. 7 is blank. Murphy was the first player to wear No. 7 and not be an All-American since the mid-90s. Travis Roche, Brandon Bochenski, T.J. Oshie and Danny Kristo wore it consecutively. The only players who will be wearing the same number as they did last season are Gardner and Shaw. Many of the others wore 30 or higher, which UND doesn’t do.- See more at: http://undhockey.areavoices.com/#sthash.EYpNUWtu.dpuf
  3. That's a decent selection right there. Jake should do pretty well. Congrats Jake!
  4. Fabbro would certainly get his fair share of playing time next season with all the potential departures.
  5. Honestly, were those UNO fans actually going to even use them?
  6. I wouldn't be surprised at that. Seems like DU always has a really good offensive dman or two.
  7. Haha. Comparing any arena's facilities to Michigan's Yost is humorous. Someone should give Bill Burke a tour of the Ralph.
  8. Certainly doesn't hurt that we have 4 of his teammates including his friend/roommate Jost talking in his ear about UND.
  9. Wow, absolutely huge first pickup for Berry and Co! Welcome aboard Tyson. Let's get your buddy Fabbro now too.
  10. Idalski certainly is good at getting these high-end Euro girls to commit!
  11. Agreed. This seems like a path leading directly to UW next season.
  12. Must have been a pretty eventful and fun company picnic.
  13. I don't think it's salty. And I agree with your points. I think he would have been a good college player, but not great. It's not comparable to when we lost Miller to the Canadian Juniors...
  14. He'll probably do really well there. I would imagine he'll be one of their best forwards...
  15. It sounds like Jost and Fabbro are pretty committed to returning to Penticton this fall. Do I remember correctly that they were already confirmed as captains? I might just be imagining that. Either way, it sounds like they are 16/17 recruits if they go the NCAA route.
  16. Former Tech goalie Pheonix Copley was involved in the trade as well.
  17. That's too bad. He came in with the expectation of potentially a top 6 scoring role with his credentials, but it just never panned out. He played very well in the last few games of the season when he was put into the lineup. Wish him the best.
  18. Someone earlier was wondering what number Tomek will be at UND: http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/pro-sports/3773597-nhl-draft-incoming-freshman-expected-be-picked-draft
  19. Pierre-Paul Lamoureux has the job wrapped up, right? He was GOBC approved and everything.
  20. I wonder if Fabbro and Jost are going to make it a package deal?
  21. I'm actually not too worried. Tomek is a very highly regarded recruit and Johnson is more than capable if splitting starting duties. Many teams have success using freshman goalies. Many teams have won titles with freshman goalies. We'll be fine.
