My problem with the officiating last night is that it needs to be consistent. You can’t call that hit by Budy a 5min and then not even call a penalty on the other two very similar hits by UNO later in the game. Call it tight...fine, then call it tight both ways. Let em play...fine, then do that for both teams. Interested to see how tonight goes with the emotions running high last night.

It definitely looked like Caulfield lost an edge when trying to stop (and getting “helped” by the dman). But if you want to call that getting ran, ok. What was the other time he got ran?

UND just needs to control its emotions in this 3rd period and not give UNO a bunch of PP chances to try to tie it up. Man, only on game 1 of 6 between these two teams? There's gonna be a big brawl at some point if this continues.

With how the officiating has been a little one-sided tonight, I wouldn't be surprised to see this called off. Regardless, nice drive to the net by Senden.

I'm gonna be sad when Pinto is gone next year...he's really driven the offense at many times this season.

BSU leading MSUM 3-1 in the 3rd period despite being outshot 28-8 thus far. McKay not in net for MSUM, not sure if injured or just getting a break.

I’m interested to see how these first two UND/UNO games go. UNO has some quality wins for sure. With how many remaining games are left between these two teams, that’ll play a huge part in determining the final NCHC standings.
