If we're looking at NCHC-only stats, UND only has 2 players (Gaber and Ford) in the top 30 for points. Gaber in 7th and Ford 17th. DU has four of the top six in points. In a normal season, Sanderson or Frisch should for sure get a look for dman spots, but both missed a few (Frisch) or a ton (Sanderson) of games, which will obviously hurt. Heck, if Sanderson played all season I would've guessed he'd be in the running for some national honors on top of all-league awards. Driscoll was second in GAA to Chrona (2.16 vs 2.17) but did lead the league in save % with .919. I could see the league giving it to either Driscoll or Chrona...Chrona does have one more league win and of course 6 shutouts compared to Driscoll's one. I'd say Berry is a shoe-in for CotY after everyone that UND lost last year and being predicted to finish 4th and then winning the league. Looking at the player stats, it's clear that UND won the league with a team effort and everyone buying in to the team goal. This certainly is not like other UND teams that have one line that carries the load.

Omaha is another team that could take a step back next season unless they can retain any of their players for a 5th year. 5 of their top 7 scorers are seniors and their 2nd leading scorer, JR dman Scanlin, will probably get some interest to sign as a free agent.

For sure. Considering that both Gaber and Frisch were supposed to play this weekend, I'm hoping that they'll be cleared to play next weekend. And Sanderson has been day to day for about a month now.

Seems like he's had the team playing pretty well despite playing without a lot of our main guys. I don't think he needs an excuse. This team was picked to finish 4th in the NCHC this year.

Yeah, not sure who I'd rather face next weekend at the Ralph. If CC plays DU, it'll essentially be a bye for DU to the FF.

Yeah their season is over next weekend unless they beat Western at the 'Zoo. It is their senior weekend though...not sure if they do anything with that like UND does though.

I'm sure the boys know all the tiebreaker info, and they won't be satisfied with just a share of the cup. They'll want it outright and certainly won't want to share it with DU. I think even without Frisch, Gaber, Sanderson, etc that we were the better team tonight and they can go out and take the W tomorrow as well. UND outshot them 30-12 thru 2 periods. They came undone a bit in the 3rd after the Kunz major. Driscoll perhaps wants one back (the big rebound to the slot), but made some outstanding saves, including those two highlight reel ones in OT. Tomorrow...don't give them any majors, limit their PP time, and play them hard 5x5 and they can be sole winners of the Penrose. Go Sioux!
