Olson was their 3rd highest scorer (7-17-24) and Loheit was their 5th (8-11-19), while Thiessen started about half the games in net.

He's making the hard decisions. If we bring in a Top 6/9 forward out of the portal, it would mean that he needed to have one of Portz/Ness/Albrecht/Montgomery to the portal, as they all play a similar Bottom 3/Checking line role.
-
One of those F didn’t play a minute. My guess is they will be back to the 15F formula again.
-
If a portal forward gets added (Berg?), the numbers didn’t add up. If Albrecht is staying, another forward needed to hit the portal too. This makes sense from a numbers perspective.

Motzko gets CNH's Coach of the Year: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2023/03/28_CHN-Coach-of-the-Year-Bob.php No offense to Bob, but I'm pretty sure I could have coached the Gophers to 25+ wins this season.

Heck yeah!

Yeah, like those bums Cagguila and Stecher.

Man, I remember how many on here were flipping out when he didn't come here after his original commitment. Similar to Spicer.

Yes, all the players we've discussed here (other than Kraws, who I think would have been more of a "Plan B" option for us) and possibly Howard (though he prob already knew where he was going when he entered portal). Yes him or Haider I think we do very well here.
-
For sure. And there's only four teams left playing, so you're not going to get a ton more players added to the portal with them...what you see now is pretty close to what you're gonna have available for options. I'm hoping that the coaches are in talks with Haider, Persson, and Pavicich for goalie. And Warren, Koch, Pyke, and Palocsik for dmen. And of course Berg for another forward/center option.

Kraws to SLU.

Should have just looked on the briefcase, I think it's written on there.

Quote from the article:

That's how you could sell UND to him as well. Top 6 minutes plus special teams. Would be easy to improve his numbers.
-
Agreed completely. He would be a very good get. From Fargo, so maybe he wants to move closer to home. Good numbers, and was only a soph this year, so would still have a couple years of eligibility remaining. Depending on what plans Berry has for Albrecht/Montgomery, Berg would be able to be plugged right into the lineup IMO.

Agreed. I didn't think twice about that tweet. Pretty tame ribbing.

Just imagining a forward group of Blake, McLaughlin, James, Strinden, Perron, Emerson, Swanson, Boisvert, Panzer, Schmaltz, and Kunz. That's a very very strong and skilled forward group. Kunz and Schmaltz would be the lone SR's in the group. Blake, Mc, James, Strinden as JR's. Perron and Emerson as sophs. And a freshman forward group of Swanson, Boisvert, and Panzer. Throw in Portz and other forward recruits that may arrive like Croal, Klee, Slipec, and Singleton (assuming a couple of those don't make it to campus).
