Perron's recent numbers looking a bit better. 2g/6a in his last 5 games. Hopefully he can finish the season strong.

I'm pretty optimistic about all four of our freshman forwards. Blake, obviously, has been consistently good all season. But the other three all show flashes of their potential more and more as the season progresses. They're all going to be excellent collegiate players by the time they hit their JR seasons. And then throw in Perron & Emerson next season and Swanson & Boisvert the following year? That's a great group of forwards right there.

I'm hoping UND can finish in 5th and have UNO finish 4th. If SCSU finishes 4th, UND would have to travel there and face them on their big sheet (didn't go so well earlier this year). I like our chances in Omaha much better to advance to the Frozen Faceoff.

With the win tonight, UND stays at #22 in the PWR and SCSU actually moves up a spot to #5. But, more importantly now, UND moves into a 3-way tie with UMD and CC in the NCHC standings for 5th (UMD game with DU still going on right now, so that could change).

They played great in the 1st and 3rd. If they buried a couple in the 1st, they might not have needed OT.

That'll be difficult with Kleven back in the lineup and NCHC officials.

The hope for an at-large was pretty dead last weekend. Even before tonight it was a less than 1% chance to get into top 14. Regardless of this weekend results, it's all down to NCHC tourney for this team.

The PK has been so strong tonight, so why not give them another go at it in a one goal game.

Yeah, they've done that a bunch too...how many 3rd period leads or ties have turned into losses this year. Schloss has the stat, but it's most of the losses. This team just can't close out a game to save their lives.

So if UND loses this game, they don't get to participate in the NCHC playoffs?

Maybe we can get a miracle and get a 5x5 goal? Doubtful but we may need it.
