  1. Scrimmage ends in a 2-2 tie. Ness, Wiebe, and Gaber x2 (both 3-on-3) with the goals.
  2. Pyke has the Go-Pro camera mount on his helmet.
  3. Schlossman responded that Emerson isn't injured, he's just out with an illness.
  4. Wow. Can't fix that amount of stupid.
  5. Yeah hopefully. Haven't heard anything mentioned about him being injured to start the season.
  6. Perron-Berg-Gaber Owen & Blake Those two lines could do very well. And then James on a 3rd scoring line to create a mismatch against any other teams 3/4 line.
  7. Perron
  8. CHN ranked their top 10 recruiting classes for this year: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2023/10/02_CHNs-Top-10-Recruiting-Classes.php UND is listed as a "honorable mention" and only brings up Perron & Livanavage. I would take our class over a couple of those in the Top 10, especially when you consider that they didn't even mention Wiebe, Emerson, Hedquist, or Benoit.
  9. I would bet that UND has a better shot at winning the league than UMD does at finishing third or higher.
  10. Boisvert is the USHL forward of the week: https://ushl.com/news/2023/10/2/awards-ushl-players-of-the-week-named-for-sept-25-oct-1.aspx

  12. Boisvert off to a blistering start.
  13. Wonder how close the Sens are gonna cut this one before the season starts? https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/gap-widens-between-senators-shane-pinto-in-contract-talks/
  14. Only Blake makes the All-CHN Preseason teams. Only one senior among the teams: https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2023/09/30_2023-24-All-CHN-Preseason.php

  16. I always thought Ben Blood should have gotten in more fights.
  17. Someone on here must be going to this scrimmage. They can live-stream it for the rest of us folks that are out of towners.
  18. Someone get this scrimmage streamed on NCHC.TV!
  19. Next year's BU team could make some history in having the #1 and #2 pick on their team from the next draft. That'd be pretty impressive for college hockey. I'm guessing Celebrini would play 2 years at BU even if selected #1 overall, simply due to his age. I think I read that he's the youngest player in college hockey this season.
  20. Loading up on those 4* recruits that will stick in college hockey for 3-4 seasons instead of 1-2 seasons like the 5* recruits.
  21. Wish he had expanded on that as well. Less timeouts per period, but they are longer duration. That should definitely benefit teams like UND that are deeper than others.
  22. Coaching staff has had an excellent run here the last couple months. Great recruiting cycle for them thus far!
  23. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/und-to-simulate-game-situations-in-hour-long-scrimmage-open-to-public
  24. Agreed. Some very nice recruits that could all play 3-4 seasons of college hockey.
