  1. Thanks Travis. Turned down scholarships from Northern Illinois and NDSU, as well as PWO from Wisco. Sounds like no scholarship money at UND either, at least right away. I'm glad that the staff had a good relationship with the young man, and that he held his loyalty. Hope to see good things out of him!
  2. I'm starting to think that each chest bump is a commit, so maybe we now have three.....just wish I could figure out who
  3. Here is a Big Sky preview: http://www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer-articles/big-sky-womens-preview_aid24691?desktop=true
  4. Must have been a verbal of some sort today - Kotelnicki just tweeted "Lots of "firsts" in recruiting this year....but today was the first staff 2 staff member chest bump over recruiting! All I can say per NCAA!" Sounds like it could be a big one Or maybe just the "first" one to follow the theme of the tweet.

  6. I don't see Conrad Schwarzkopf on the roster. Hopefully he's still planning on attending, as I thought he was good enough to warrant a scholarship.
  7. I'm assuming some of you have seen this as something that is floating out there with the WAC and Big Sky merging.......comes from what Fullerton said in Dakota's post above I believe..... http://www.mwcboard....showtopic=41381 Makes for interesting discussion.
  8. If that would come to fruition, I would think NMSU would be good with the southern / Cali folks, and Idaho would fit nicely with the northern folks. I would, however, think that Denver and Seattle may fit in better with the northern schools (Seattle could go either way). Then the southern folks have 8 football schools (but maybe throw in Utah Valley for 9 all sports) and then 8 football schools in the north (throw in Denver and Seattle in all sports and you have 10 total). While I would have serious doubts this will ever happen, I've seen worse.

    New Jerseys

You are definitely more connected than I, so hopefully what you're hearing is correct.

    New Jerseys

While I agree with this, I'm guessing they'll be white with green trim. I hope I'm wrong Also, getting green pants in the mix will be pretty sweet too. I've always wondered why they didn't have them.
  11. hmmmm.....the whole call me maybe thing is too played out to me........don't think I care for that....
  12. Is this what you're looking for? http://www.egriz.com/2012/07/new-big-sky-conference-logo/
  13. While I understand that SHSU has 17 returning starters, I'm actually a little surprised they were voted on top. Main reason for this is that I believe they lost both coordinators, so who knows how much affect that will have on them. On paper, this top 10 looks pretty good, which a few questions like why is JMU so high (although I think they are going to be good, not sure if #4 good) and how did Delaware crack the top 10 after last seasons disappointing year. But, it is the preseason and as most have said, it will likely look a lot different by year end.
  14. No one said the BSC was superior to the MV - it was stated that the BSC is a superior conference, which it is along with the CAA, SoCon and MVFC. And, with 4 teams that have won the national title from the MV, you realize that there have been 5 champions from the Big Sky right? Boise State, Idaho State, Montana State, Montana and Eastern Washington. But, at least you come back with them being equal, which I think most would agree with here.
  15. I was there in 2010, and I must say that they surely know how to treat their guests. Friday afternoon, after buying our first pitcher of beer, we didn't pay for another drink the rest of the night. Saturday, almost everyone we walked by stopped us to offer us food and drink, and to talk a little football. It was an amazing experience. I'm hoping to start getting to some other out of town games in the future. Davis, Poly, Montana State are a few that are on top of my list.

  17. According to Travis Wilson, UND has offered TE Shane Wimann from Wisconsin Dells. Wimann already has an offer from NDSU.
  18. Couple more - first, you have Cole Reyes twice (DB and S) Then, DeAndre Miller committed to Arizona http://recruiting.scout.com/a.z?s=73&p=8&c=1&nid=6056161
  19. New offer. RB Direll Clark Lake Villa, IllinoisLakes Community 6'1" 225 N/A http://rivals.yahoo....6ZqZ_FnsntIPZB4
  20. Not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere - here is an interview with Fullerton from today. http://www.theupsetblog.com/2012/06/big-sky-commissioner-speaks-on-idaho.html#more
  21. Yes, I agree with BSB. Everyone needs to realize that there is more than just football that needs to be looked at in the context of "a textbook case of a school that should have stayed Division II". UNC has been very successful in other sports - just because the football team is currently down (and admittedly it has been for a little bit) doesn't mean the move up from an overall perspective has been a complete disaster.
  22. Measure 4 results are now on the front page of cnnsi.com. Here is the AP article. http://sportsillustr...ml?sct=hp_t2_a9
  23. This is turning into a complete landslide. I was expecting a 55-45 gap or less. Definitely a bittersweet time, but I've come to accept it.
