  1. Now that's gotta hurt! I ran across this picture in the Minnesota Daily, the University of Minnesota's student newspaper. Look at the faces on the Sioux fans behind the glass.
  2. It's fine with me if BC puts a lot of pressure on Cory Schneider. As I recall, he was undefeated last season before the Sioux laid a 6-3 shellacking on Eagles. Besides that, the Sioux have plenty of players with experience playing with or against Scheider: T.J. Oshie Brian Lee Taylor Chorney Mike Prpich Chris Porter Drew Stafford Travis Zajac Rastislav Spirko Matt Smaby Kyle Radke

  5. I wonder what he'd say? After my INCH minus, you should just leave the stupid questions to the real sudo-journalists. I'm sure Red Berenson is still wondering who that idiot reporter was in the front row.
  6. I don't remember Prpich ever fighting Scott. Ryan Hale did, but I don't think any other Sioux player ever did.

I don't know about other coaches on other teams, but Bob May got the Sioux into the NCAA championship game his first two years. UND lost in 1958 and then won its first national championship in 1959. Bill Selman did it 1966-67 and 1967-1968. The Sioux lost the NCAA championship both those seasons. Gino Gasparini did it in 1978-1979 and 1979-1980, losing the national championship in '79 to Minnesota and winning it in '80. Adding Hakstol to that list puts him in some elite company.
  12. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!
  13. Don't let the door hit ya...!
  14. I actually earned an INCH minus at the West Regional all by myself. I'll bet nobody can guess which one it is.

  17. I thought it was a super nova!
  18. I understand what Fetch is saying. At the first WCHA Final Five I ever attended, there was a SCSU student who would jump to his feet every time the puck got close to the net. He was directly in our line of sight and completely blocked our view. Every time he stood up, it created a chain reaction of people standing to see what was happening. If they didn't stand, they couldn't see. It was extremely annoying and extremely rude. Fortunately, there were some SCSU fans directly behind us who were just as sick of this guy's antics as everyone else in the area. After they yelled at him a couple times, he finally stopped doing his jack-in-the-box routine. It wasn't a difficult problem to solve. All it took was the cooperation of one idiot to stop acting like an idiot.
  19. Okay.
  20. Yes.
  21. Following UND's game with Holy Cross, when Jordan Parise was asked about the team playing better in front of him and his assessment of his goaltending, he said:
  22. Will someone post updates?
