Thanks for noticing. I just submitted a longer, more detailed story to USCHO. I'm hoping that they'll be able to post soon. It all depends on how busy the editors are on college hockey night.

Based on what Stenehjem said this morning, my understanding is that the case will stay in state court until one side loses and then appeals it.

The lawsuit seeks a preliminary injunction to immediately stop the NCAA from implementing its policy and then a permanent injunction.

While it's probably a good idea to inform the university, you don't have to because there's a specific exemption in the NCAA rules about this very situation.

As has been previously stated here, it's a groin injury.

Isn't having the word "war" as part of a nickname rather hostile? It wouldn't surprise me a bit if such names were next on the hit list. Bison and Eagles, stand by to have your ox gored.

They must have mixed up a batch of that green Kool Aid I sent them.

I'm thinking that one set of crossed sabres on the front of the hockey helmets would look cool. Would I lie to you? I don't see how we could avoid it.

I also envision a black helmet with Vegas Gold piping (to emulate the black Stetson hats) and crossed cavalry sabre logos on the helmet sides. I think it would be a very cool look.
