Hopefully our returning players have improved a lot. Agree that we will be playing true freshman this year.

Hopefully we decide to use the tight ends. bubba was just stubborn

Won’t recognize the team anymore. Hopefully we remain competitive. Tough profession.

Who got bigger over the summer? Hopefully our defense tackles especially.

25 days until the exhibition against Jamestown. Looking forward to it.

It appears we have many of the needed pieces to be competitive.

I thought the question was who we thought would be our starting qb not who we wanted to be the starter - there is a difference of course.

Oh to have a lot of money. Will be hard to compete without it.

What’s St Thomas future? Would be nice if down the road we were in the same conference.

Well we will have NODAK on half of our hockey jerseys. I haven’t had my feelings hurt yet about the nodiks yet. I don’t think our on the ice performance has been affected by what it says on the jersey but obviously UND hockey is a separate beast. I shouldn’t have brought the name thing up again but it is what it is.

Still watching the twins. Appears they just don’t have the players to make the playoffs this year. Warning track team. I do hope they make some moves before the trade deadline.

Do we have the defensive tackles to compete from day one this year. Seems like we don’t. if the 4-2 defense is supposed to help against the run does that mean it comes at the expense of our pass defense? can our defense be improved enough just because of coaching changes? Do we have the horses that are needed? we were in many of the games we lost last year - hopefully we can improve enough to win some of those games but a nine or ten win season seems like pretty optimistic

I am surprised that two of the uniforms have NODAK. I like the uniforms and like NODAK. Makes me wonder if NODAK would have been the better option than what we got with the hawks. I still can’t refer to UND as the fighting hawks. I don’t refer us as the Sioux either - just refer to us as UND.

No matter who starts this year I have some comfort that Simon will be there probably as a backup. Nice to have that experience and he did have his moments. Like it or not but he might be more involved than many think because of packages and injuries - might be. And who knows maybe he has improved some. i agree romfo won’t lead us to the promised land

Just unbelievable how empty the cupboard is. Role players might be starters. Our starting five will not be good and our bench will be worse. I haven’t been this pessimistic about UND men’s basketball ever. hopefully some players will surprise but as has been said we just don’t appear to have many division l players. Had one absolutely insane bad recruiting year that is moving through the program. did I say I am upset and pessimistic yet?

6’7” VanderWal is listed on the roster. Would be huge if somehow she will be greatly improved. She has shown glimpses of potential. Will be interesting to see how much playing time she earns.

About time UND hockey makes a run at the title. This is the year!

Yes family events I think Kansas State will be the best fbs team we play over the years. I can’t think of a better one. Doesn’t mean we won’t compete.
