I think in the back of Taylor's mind he IS afraid of losing. Most of baby bison fans also are a little afraid though they won't admit it. Imagine going 0 - 7 against your rival. The good thing for UND is that by the time they play UND will be favored to beat the baby bison. That all said, if Taylor doesn't want to play then the baby bison have that right. Just quit saying you want to play but you can't get the schedule to work. Taylor probably gets a bonus for every year they don't play us.

After all the additions and subtractions can anybody tell me where they think our strengths and weaknesses will be for the coming year? By position? I don't have a clue!!

Here's wishing all UND and NDSU players the best of luck making a NFL roster. I look forward to watching any and all that make it.

In Bubba I trust Overheard this conversation over the weekend. Bison fan talking about upcoming seasons to someone who knows Bubba. Person in the know asks Bison fan about how he thinks Sioux will do. Bison fan says Sioux aren't even on the radar they are so bad. Person in the know says just a matter of time before Bubba turns things around. Bison fan changes topic. Bison fan is very vocal so this shows what we all know - Bubba will turn this thing around and glory days are ahead!

Pretty simple question that most su fans have trouble answering Finally a su fan who acknowledges that UND dominated su this year Totally agree. This makes what UND did to them so great. Probably won't ever happen again to have one team dominate the other by this much. Totally dominated su this year. If I recall correctly, this puts UND ahead in the Division 1 era.

Ummm Would you rather go 6 and 0 against an opponent or go 0 and 6?
-
The bad part about this is when we win next year everybody will say that we should have won. buttfootball and butt?? I guess just buttfootball well maybe not even buttfootball till it is proven on the field
-
I guess I care after all. Sioux win 3 - 2. Bison ace Wentz pitched. 6 and 0 baby!
-
How's this? I only care about round two UND - su baseball if we win. I am trying to anticipate the other teams reaction and interest. I also heard UND wasn't going to give its best effort this time to help even things up. In fact, UND might not even have a pitcher available.

So who wins next year? I wouldn't be overconfident in either team.

only people with sense of humor watch this video

I had never heard of much less watched this show. Didn't even know it was a TV show after I watched the link in the beginning of this thread till later on in the thread. Why do people think that showing a seemingly drunk Indian diss or make fun of UND? I don't get it. -
It is funny how nasty they get when they get beat actually playing the game. Sticks and stones to the vocal minority of clueless and classless Bison fans. I think most are fairly reasonable and fun to be with.

IMO you are missing the point. I couldn't do it but I imagine that somebody could find out who all of us are. That is one thing but posting it is taking it too far. Too many crazies out there. You could open up this forum and see a picture of your kids and where they go to school. Just plain wrong. Some people just go too far.

Some (many?) (most??) NDSU fans seem to have a need to feel superior. This is not limited to UND but UND has a special place in their hearts. They can and will deny it. They can and do make all kinds of excuses. They can and will post all sorts of reasons why they don't care. They can and will post all sorts of reasons why UND going 5-0 against them doesn't bother them. They can and will post that they really weren't giving their best shot at beating UND. They can and will say that whenever they lose to UND that they played their worst game of the year. I find this all interesting and entertaining.

I agree with Darell. There should be some limits and this goes beyond. Go ahead and give each other smack. If a person wants to tell everyone who he is that they have the right. If a person doesn't then others shouldn't publicly identify who you are. There are some crazy people out there. Whoever did this should take it down.

Oh oh - maybe we just stop now

UND's Riewer complete game win with 135 pitches. Ice Ice Ice

Trying to remember hmmm men's basketball check women's basketball check volleyball check baseball check very interesting!

I would tend to go to more games if I knew we were at least competitive. Having a few beers and burgers before hand and then to a game that we have a chance of winning if we play well is attractive to me. Going to a game that we are behind 21-0 in the first quarter gets old very fast. Especially when you know it will probably just get worse. I can have fun at the event without winning the game.

Pretty impressive award for UND signee. Junior this year. Shanley’s Fraase presented with award given to student-athletes who define leadership Fargo Alivia Fraase’s junior year at Fargo Shanley High School just keeps getting better and better. Wednesday, in front of the entire Shanley student body, Fraase was presented a National Guard Inspiration Award. The award – presented in conjunction with USA Today High School Sports – is given to only 15 student-athletes in the nation a year and is in its second year as a program, which honors athletes who define leadership. “It is a great honor,” said Fraase, who plays volleyball and basketball at Shanley. “I’m really speechless. … It is really exciting.” Fraase maintains a 3.79 GPA and volunteers with a variety of organizations including Bag of Hope, where volunteers make gifts for hospitalized children. Last fall, Fraase committed to play volleyball at the University of North Dakota and surpassed 1,000 career kills, while helping the Deacons to a 31-3 record along with a third-place finish at the Class A state tournament. In the winter, the 6-foot forward was a member of the Shanley basketball squad that won the Class A state championship with a 53-29 win over Minot. Fraase posted eight points and 10 rebounds in the title game. “A lot has happened this year, and I’m very grateful,” Fraase said. “A lot of the credit goes to my family, friends, coaches and teammates. They have been by my side throughout the years. Their support has been unreal, and I give all the credit to them.” North Dakota Army National Guard Brigadier General Joe Dohrmann presented the award to Fraase along with a commander’s coin. “She truly is an inspiration to those around her,” Dohrmann said during the ceremony. “Inspiration is defined as something that makes someone want to do something. A force or influence inspires someone and when I read about Alivia those two words, force and influence, ring true about her character and what she has done here at Shanley High School.” “When I’m on the court, I realize there are people watching and there are kids smiling and having fun,” Fraase added. “They look up to high schoolers, a lot more than what people think. I think it is important to stay on the right track even when you don’t think there are people watching. There are eyes everywhere.” In addition to her sports and volunteer work, Fraase has got into coaching this spring, taking some time to pass on her knowledge of volleyball to those eager to learn from the all-state standout. “I coach sixth-grade volleyball during the spring,” Fraase said. “This is my first year doing it, and I absolutely love it. We have practices on Wednesdays, and it has been fun getting to know the girls on a personal level. I just hope I am a role model for them.” https://secure.forumcomm.com/?publisher_ID=1&article_id=431747&CFID=515157092&CFTOKEN=73200111

Does anybody know if Klabo is interested in UND? Sounds like UND is pretty interested. Is she still growing? I agree with Iramurphy that she is athletic. Can shoot inside outside, drive. Didn't notice how she did defensively. Will have to pay closer attention next year.

My prediction: End of 1st Period MN up 2 - 0 End of 2nd Period MN up 2 - 1 End of 3rd Period Tied at 3 UND wins in 1st overtime -
Trying not to sound more clueless than I usually do but where does Ohio get the money to pay that type of salary for coaches? TV? Alumni? Attendance?

How do I go back and change some of my wrong picks? If I could change them I would rank a little higher.

UND had 14-15 NHL drafted players vs zero for Ferris. Players get drafted for their potential and players get recruited for their potential. So, both Hak and his staff plus a bunch of NHL scouts singled out UND players as having better/more potential than Ferris players. I think it is a valid argument that UND should win this game. Or, both UND and the NHL need to change up their staff that does recruiting. Or, UND isn't developing their players. I do buy into the argument that Ferris had older more experienced players. Either way, great regional and Let's beat the rodents.
