I am very non tech. I did call sling to ask how it works. This is what I think I know. You can sign up over the phone and they give you a log in and password right then and there. Drink some beer. You go to you TV and get to the internet section. I have MIDCO cable by the way though it shouldn't matter. You login and the channels you have purchased show up. Eat snacks and drink beer. Click on PAC12 and all PAC12 games show up on your screen. Click on the UND-UTAH game and you are drinking more beer and watching the game. Normally, there is a $20/month charge for Sling and then they told me I would need the "Orange" sports package which includes all PAC12 games. The orange package normally costs $5/month. But Sling has a free 7 day trial (I think that has been mentioned before but I didn't understand). My plan is to sign up for the free 7 day trial early next week and see if I can get the dang thing to work (watch some other PAC12 game and drink some beer). If it works, I may look into other options with Sling or I will just cancel within the 7 day trial. For those of you in the know - am I missing anything? It appears I will be watching at home unless some Fargo bar steps up and figures out how to broadcast/stream it. I hope this helps! Disclaimer: this is my understanding but do not rely on me!! I agree in theory about not liking a scrambling QB. Offset the scrambling ability with a new QB that (I think) hasn't started before. Let's get him rattled a little and see how he holds up. What about a first play pick6 for a confidence builder!!

I have contacted Frank's lounge, bww, and wild bills in Fargo about showing the Utah game. No for sure yes yet - in fact they said doubtful. Does anyone have a contact in a bar in Fargo to get the game broadcast?

Take me for the perfect proof of this. I haven't been to the weight room in years but have gained a lot by eating. I know geaux is speaking the truth! Drinking beer also has helped me gain weight.

Have weights been updated? If so, are we ok with the offensive line?

Wow - appears to be bad news. We seem to get our share of it. I imagine the positive of it happening now is it gives the team a little bit of time to prepare. Maybe leaves a chance of coming back for part of the season. Any chance of still bringing in a FBS player if needed?

Just over six fricking weeks till the opening game!. Can it be so? How long has it been since UND has had all this preseason hype? I am pumped!

What are your predictions and thoughts for the first three games of 2017? Just over two months to go!! Generally we should be able to score more points. Our defense will be even better in 2017 but we are playing some good teams. Stay healthy. @ Utah - lose 27-21 Studs comes out like the steady leader we need him to be but the competition talent level is too much to overcome. Missouri State - Win 35-10 A game we should win at home. I will be there with my first time season pass waving my new Hawks flag! @ South Dakota - Win 45-28 Lots of points but we will be able to outscore teams this year.

After years of being underpaid (my opinion even though he wasn't the best coach and behaved badly at time) I can see why Jones wants to cash in.

Excited but nervous for 2017. All comes down to your record and a few games come down to the breaks.
