Punter and kicker both “ORs” I know Wanzek handled punts last year but I thought it was only because of sure hands. Was hoping for someone more explosive. sam and will linebackers must be inside linebackers. Would someone please explain the difference between the two? Sam means strong and will means weak? thanks

I cannot make our first game. some, including myself, have indicated an interest to meet other posters. Looking for someone who has a tailgating spot that would be willing to host their existing spot for Sioux sports posters to gather at the Sam Houston game. some posters, such as myself, don’t have a tailgating spot. Some would be willing to bring food and drink. I toyed with the idea of getting tailgating spot just for the Houston game but, after talking to others, decided to ask if someone else out there would consider hosting. hosting to me means letting others know where your spot is and welcoming posters for the Houston game. Hosting doesn’t mean you have a bunch of folks at your spot every week - unless you want that?? any interest out there. Any better ideas? Bad or good idea? reply here or pm me. I have walked thru tailgating and have never stopped at anyone’s spot.

Wth go to watch the twins last night only to find out they lost already then look for their score tonight only to see they don’t play mlb should come out with a listing of when teams play! Like a schedule or something! mets leading Cleveland so far tonight

Reminds me that my life struggles aren’t so bad. I am blessed!

I will continue to choose to have fun this season. Not always easy when things don’t go as I want. I will still be disappointed when we don’t play well. Still disappointed when breaks don’t go our way. Still disappointed when we lose. I would appreciate it if we start winning more games and play playoff games sooner than later though. I am not smart enough to know how many games we will win this year. Nothing wrong about being disappointed if we only win 4-5-6. Life goes on and next year comes around. Wow - I just completely lowered my expectations for this year after reading the posts. I did get my season tickets Saturday!

I want to make the playoffs because we are good - I would take backing in but let’s earn it. Earn it by playing and coaching to our abilities. Being sloppy and allowing blocked punts means we don’t deserve. Bad breaks will happen. Good plays by our opponents will happen. Crap happens. Good teams overcome and win. I want this year’s team to be something we are proud of. I want us to win because we are good!

One of many things you have taught me over the years is that the tackle position is harder to fill. I get more excited when we get tackle recruits than guards.
