My choice was went to UND but there is more then that, my first hockey game other then high school was the Sioux versus Duluth and i was hooked ever since. I was in the band went to 2 frozen fours with them and the last 4 years have just been a blast to watch even though Denver and BC has ruined the weekends.

D3 does have scholarships you have to be a D3 school though so as UM-Crookston is a D2 school they cannot issue scholarships to the hockey team. It's a confusing mess.

I had the Pleasure of sitting next to Bokal and Shepard on the flight to Minneapolis this morning and I asked about the hit on LaPoint. He said from his vantage point it was at least a cross check but since at the time he was out at Center Ice making that call with Thul down in the zone would be improper since he is responisble for action away from the puck. I got a dirty look from Shepard it was kinda funny, that someone dare bring up a missed call to a WCHA ref.

I hope that the WCHA will let BSU in they will be a good fit, they already play us and the Minnesota Schools. Would there be another school that would be worth adding since 11 teams might get to be a bit challenging on the scheduling side. Also Hats off the the Crew of the Mainline Airways flight in New York this afternoon.
