I am here in Denver and was at both the BC and the UND practices, my takes on the practices: BC - They looked surprisingly slow for such a fast team the intensity was not there and they seemed to be frustrated with passes not sticking and shots missing. i also noticed that BC's shots were very weak, i think the lack of size of their forward unit results in soft shots but some of them have great puck handling skills. UND - Looked great, the tempo was high lots of intensity and the passing was great. shots were a lot stronger than BC (was the first thing i noticed). the Sioux looked a lot faster than BC which totally took me by surprise as BC is supposed to be sooo quick. Duncan Oshie and Kozek were on the line together so that will make a lot of people happy. second line was kaip frattin and watkins, third was vandevelde, watkins and martens, fourth line was radke, zajac and malone, and the scratched line was trupp, forney and i think Davidson . i didnt catch Notre Dame practice but i did see Michigan, and i tell you what, they look GOOD. their passing is unreal they made a lot of absolutely impossible plays that made the crowd cheer. UND did the same but not quite as much as Michigan. Thats my take on practices today and GO SIOUX tomorrow.

I just arrived at the hotel in denver. i am staying at the Four Points by Sheraton southeast, does anybody know if this is the four points hotel that the charter is staying at or are they at one of the other four points hotels??

Awesome, if you see a black nike swift sioux jersey with Genoway #5 on the back, DEFINATELY say hello, i would love to meet all you SS.com members You will love Australia and NZ both are great but NZ is great if you like adventure sports like bungee jumping, sky diving, jet boats, river rapids etc. but Australia is better for sight seeing and tourist activities. anyways it is 11pm here and i can not sleep as i leave tomorrow at 1pm and i am sooooo excited it will be the longest 22 hour trip in the world, but it is worth it can not wait to see you all there it will be lots of fun, GO SIOUX WOOOOOOOOOOO

i only EVER go to a sioux game if they are at the Frozen Four but i plan on attending a gopher series at the ralph one year but not sure when?? i would also pay $600 and go to 24 games a year but i havnt got that luxury it SUX

$1600??? Try coming from Australia!!! My travel plans are: 14 hour flight sydney to LA 4 hour lay-over in LAX 2 hour flight LA to denver I arrive tuesday night then leave the following monday night to do the same on the way back!!! Ouch!

It is obvious that the sioux fans will completely out number any other teams fans in Denver, but how many Sioux fans should we expect? Estimates plz? I estimate 3000 but really I have no idea I'm prob wayyyyy off.

I am staying at the same hotel as the charter, do you think there will be room on their busses to and from the hotel as I have no transport in denver?

That is great Trupp is back in the lineup, he brings another dimension of scoring to whatever line he plays on which the Sioux will need against BC, I just hope he is not rusty.

Yeah but last year my superstition didn't work my lucky ace of hearts didn't get the sioux past BC, but the undies are sure to work haha no really the sioux don't need my help they have got it this year (knock on wood). I just like to think I am helping.

Haha I have 3 pairs of green underwear which I am wearing everyday until the FF is over. I had to wear a pair unwashed the other day since I forgot to wash them, oops, but I now have the rhythm of it

That is awesome, I agree 10000000000%. Ur lucky you are not coming from down under, your parents would have a heart attach, mine did haha But it is true, Sioux hockey is the single greatest piece of entertainment in my life and many others. It only comes twice a week at most and I only get to see it live once a year MAX, and even then, its only a 1 in 49 chance that I will see the Sioux live each year but when I do get to see them live, its worth a year of waiting. GO SIOUX

This has prob already been said but I came across some useful info yesterday in regards to accommodation. If you get the official frozen four program from the official frozen four website, it has a list of hotels with special frozen four fan rates. I saved myself $25 per night with the rate I found. Just thought I'd share to try and help people get cheaper accommodation so we can all spend the saved money on alcohol

Yeah I could do that, but I just don't want to fly all the way to denver and then get there and not be able to get into the arena. I just want to be sure I have tickets. I have flights booked and paid for and accomodation booked all I need now are game tickets but either way ill be there in denver either in the arena or out haha (I hope I'm inside the arena)

I am having troubles getting tickets... I went on the charter last year and it was great, everything was well organised but this year it is very UNorganised and tickets are very hard to come by. I am getting worried now, but hopefully it will work out. As long as the Sioux get #8 right?
