At least it wasnt a bad penalty, i dont mind this penalty as it really rattles the player and the team is now more aware of finley on the ice, he is even more intimidating (if thats how u spell it) after this hit i say great job and i want to see more big hits from the defense especially to lift the sioux and the crowd

The sioux are playing well in my eyes, sure they had a few lapses on the 4 on 4 but thats not too much of an issue. I am enjoying the intensity in this matchup finley made a great BIG hit that was clean but the ref is a moron. Oshie and Duncan have really stepped up this game and are playing with a lot of hunger which is great to see and hopefully will lead by example and get the rest to step up also. Lammy was not challenged to much in the first but he was solid and lets hope to see this for the rest of the weekend and hope he doesnt lose concentration and have a few minute lapse. 1 - 0 is FAR to close for comfort so lets see someone step up and score an early goal to really get the ball rolling in the Sioux's favour and continue this momentum for the ret of the period.

PREDICTION: Sioux Sweep I believe that if the Sioux can get the win on Friday they will Sweep. And i BELIEVE they CAN get the win Friday and complete the sweep on Saturday. The Sioux need to play with some heart, all i have seen from them this season is a few sparks of heart, but the Sioux have a habit of leaving the heart in the locker room for many shifts at a time. If the Sioux want to do the same as they have the last 3 seasons, and dominate the second half, they MUST play with the same if not more Heart, Passion and Intensity as they would a Gopher series, which we have NOT seen YET this season. Sioux hockey is about Pride and Passion and this has not been displayed since the 2007 NCAA regionals. The Sioux have not yet found that Pride and Passion this season, except for a few players but the Whole team needs to find this as hockey is a team sport and a few players can not carry a team, but once they find this pride and passion i think they will shine. I dont mean to sound like an old man or anything, but this is what i believe to be true, you may disagree or not find any logic in this but WHO REALLY CARES WHAT WE THINK, its only about what goes on in the Sioux Locker room and on the ice, not in the stands and infront of computers. GO SIOUX

They must play with as much intensity as a gopher game to get this Sweep and to continue momentum for the rest of the season. Lammy played awesome last night and will be very challenged tonight lets hope he is going to be there as he was yesterday. Lets hope the boys get their legs going after the 20 days rest. Good to see the win from the Sioux. Being an interconference game there was not a lot of intensity but hopefully a few big hits early on tomorrow will lift both teams After 20 days rest it will take a while for the legs to wind up to full speed, hopefully tomorrow will be a different story. the Sioux PP was clicking a little bit more but they had problems gaining the zone but once setup they were moving the puck well. The PK was good tonight the sioux controlled most of UNH's PP chances early on. A few little stupid penalties but thats just the way things go sometimes. All in all i think the sioux still need to lift more to really start their second half and get into a good rhythm leading up to March. But there is A LOT of hockey to go in this season and only time will tell how the Sioux carry themselves into March???

I guess you can not leave it to the last 3 minutes to start playing and expect a win great, exciting finish but all in all it was poor play by the sioux lets hope the break will let them rest and come back strong

Is it just me or do the Sioux all look very tired, fatigued and slow?

they had a few good shifts but now being beaten to the puck again lets see some consistency as they can not play well for more than 2 minutes at a time but there is still a lot of hockey left in this series

looks like the sioux have a little more ergency now that they are down 2 but it shouldnt take a 2 goal deficite to get them motivated

Its always great to see the Sioux beat the Goofs (even better to see them sweep), but there were many things that need improvement to get the sweep tomorrow. lets hope the sioux can take advantage of the chances a little more than they did tonight as the goofs will come out hungry tomorrow. lets hope the PP clicks a lot more than it did tonight. thats just a few things that need improvement.
