UW's football and men's basketball are firing on all cylinders right now year in and year out. Hockey is no longer important there, the results bear that out.

The most puzzling thing about Faison was his eagerness to extend the contracts for the coaches from the Buning era that weren't even his guys! I love what BF has done on the conference affiliation front with the Sky and NCHC, that's outstanding work. But the way the coaching situations have been handled it almost smacks of laziness.

Faison and Jones' contracts run through 2017, so I don't see it getting any better in the next 12 months. We need some positivity around here...I hope the boys can deliver #8 in April.
