It's like Sue fans have erased all memory of the Dean Blais years. How many subtle jabs or throw-away punch lines directed at Minnesota were printed in the Grand Forks Herald or were aired during the coach's show? From those that I remember, the jabs were always based in some truth, but were still (in best Bush impression) exaggerations. Looks like Lucia learned from the best.

What was wrong about Lucia's comment. North Dakota in the last three years has been involved in more fights (fighting penalties) than any other team in the WCHA. It's not even close.

With two years of action between them, I'd take TV's antics (and results) over Parise's.

Briggs had 10 games in which he allowed 0-1 goals, including four shutouts. UND's rotation had 15 games, including two shutouts. And as "bad" as Briggs is, his freshman numbers are considerably better than Robb Stauber's freshman year.
