  1. You got your asses handed to you by the weakest Bison team in a dozen years. It ain't arrogance if you can back it up.
  2. Let 'em go. Don't need people like that. They'll change their minds once they see their money can't buy everything.
  3. What are you saying? In your mind are the people of Minnesota mostly for or mostly against the topics mentioned in the OP?
  4. Again, you're being ridiculous. I doubt you could find one Bison fan who didn't understand that Central Arkansas is not The University of Arkansas.
  5. Sounds like a personal problem.
  6. Oh c'mon. NDSU has always allowed their facilities to be used as a platform by many, mostly conservative, groups. If we are ever to heal this country's divisions, we need to respect each other and each other's opinions...political and otherwise. Also, I suspect that like the rest of the state, the groups the OP mentioned, have a decidedly conservative tilt at NDSU.
  7. Again, who cares? NDSU as an institution has no opinion on those matters and the opinions of individual Teammakers, Bison supporters, and Bison Football players are their own and none of your business.
  8. Again, why would Philly have signed Carson Wentz to a $128m contract if they didn't consider him to be a top-tier QB? At that point, they had had 3 years to watch him compete against NFL level talent, they knew what they were getting.
  9. A top five contract would also be pretty nice.
  10. There were 20 NFL draft scouts at the game Saturday. Why do you suppose they were all wasting their time (during a world-wide pandemic) on a "solid" QB. They could have concluded that without coming all the way to Fargo. Also, what exactly are your credentials as a NFL draft analyst? As a rule of thumb, when most experts disagree with you, it's probably you that are wrong.
  11. Right, he was drafted way too high. That's why the Eagles signed him to a $128m contract after seeing him play for three years. Money talks...and Carson Wentz has probably already made more money playing football than all the UND football players in history combined. By the end of his contract, he certainly will have.
  12. When things are going well for the team as a whole, the QB gets too much credit. When things aren't going well, the QB gets too much blame. That's what's playing out now in Philadelphia.
  13. Again, there's no reason to post obviously untrue nonsense. NDSU fans who also happened to be Viking fans generally supported Jimmy K during his NFL career, those that weren't generally didn't. I'm sure that more UND fans would support Wentz now if he were playing for the Vikings instead of the Eagles.
  14. Why would you bother to say such obviously untrue nonsense?
  15. Of course. That's what makes the NFL draft a crapshoot. All of the potential draftees, regardless of the level they played at in college, have zero starts against NFL competition. BTW - Trey didn't really play badly today anyway.
  16. I didn't say it was a good idea. He would have had to be superman to improve his draft position.
  17. NFL draft scouts aren't going to judge him based on this one unusual game. He already had 15 starts on film. If he was a first rounder before this game, he still is.
  18. FYI - NDSU only used the old "snorty" logo for the November 16th, 2019 game against South Dakota as a nod to the 125th anniversary of NDSU football. Both the yellow and the matte green helmets have used a more modern version for years. The Bison switched back to the modern logo for the 2019 playoffs.
  19. It is colder in Minneapolis, but not that much. Average daily temperature (High/Low °F): Minneapolis 22/6 Madison WI 27/8 Iowa CIty IA 31/14
  20. I think you're overestimating the MIAC. IMO, UST is likely to have a tough time in in the PFL for a while.
  21. This is really great news for St Thomas, the Summit League, and sports in the Twin Cities, the State of Minnesota and the Upper Midwest. Minnesota has needed another DI school for decades.
