Hopefully some of the guys do step it up this weekend, (Lundbohm to name one), with Fylling sick and we all know how much DU likes to clutch and grab, UND needs production from where ever it can get it. This is going to be a tough series, Denver is a good team and are going to give the Sioux their best this weekend...

You beat me to it. I was going to suggest planting Greene in front of the net on the PP. Who is going to be able to move him? That is right, no one. He is big and his job is to move people out of the crease, he would cause so much havoc in front of the net. The goalie is not going to be able to see what is going on and Greene will tie maybe two D-men for the opposing team! Someone should call in to the coaches show and suggest this...

What should we all do at games? Hold hands with the person next to us? Harrassing the refs is part of the atmosphere of the game, I get a kick out of the students taunting the ref. Sure, using cuss words is not the best thing to do, but the refs are not complaining, are they? As for harrassing fans of the opposing teams, I would not expect anything less if I went to a game at someone else's stadium. A good example of this is the Sioux-Bison game this year. We were sitting behind some toga wearing NDSU fans and next to the band. It was hilarious listing to these two groups insult each other, it was all part of the game. If this guy cannot handle this, he should get a Dataflix subscription... As for his suggestion that the REA deal with these occurances the way the NCAA says we should is a load of [naughty]. Soon the REA is gong to be serving tea and crumpets during breaks on the ice if people get their way. They are killing the excitement of the game! I thought the UM series went a long way towards restoring the old intimidation factor of playing in Grand Forks, these people need to suck it up...

Oh yes they do! I wish my school had a women's hockey team, (or even a men's team, but not for the same reason!). I was drooling on my program when I attended games last year...

I have been very impressed with Brandt this year! He has been doing an awesome job so far this year. No longer am I afraid that he will let in weak and stupid goals. There have been a few weak goals scored on him this year, but those have been just freak goals and not really his fault...

They do play some really lame songs at times during the games. Maybe if they played more up beat music, the crowd would get into the game more. I like it when they play Welcome to the Jungle, it is just too bad that most of the older crowd do not understand that when it is played that they should make noise. I also like when they play Disturbed's rendition of Shout...

My cousin told me that when he was a student in the late 90's at UND someone made sign that said, "Hey, _________, I slept with your sister last night." The guy would write the players name on the sign when the guy got in the box...

UND is getting 73% of the votes on CSTV, but it does not say how many people have voted...

It is a jinx, but I think that it is a combination of the players being to comfortable at No. 1 and the other team trying to knock down the top team in the nation, (yeah, I'm a genius). As long as the players do not get too comfortable at the top we should hold it for a while. This weekend we need to sweep SCSU and show them how hockey is really played, just like we did to UM last weekend. Winning at Denver is crucial, but a sweep is not as big as this weekend series will be. I would not be surprised if we lost the No. 1 because we lost to a decent team, but some team out east gets more exposure in thier match ups against decent teams...

I think that Northern CO., UND, NDSU, USD, SDSU, and Neb. Omaha should have all worked together to go to DI status instead of each school going on its own. Then they could have created thier own conference instead of each school begging to get into a conference. I know that UNO might not have been able to go DI because Lincoln would not want a Neb. school competing with it. Would that not have made sense though?

Friday, it was rocking the most that I recall it ever rocking. Saturday was better then a lot of nights but the crowd was not as excited as they were Friday night though they did pick it up later in the game... Got to watch some punk gopher kid (teenager) get all pissed off and take off his gopher hat and jersey and pout, that was hilarious...

I will not be surprised when the MN fans use the excuse, "Well if Ballard and Harrington..." Like the sign at the game said, 'Minnesota: Land of 10,000 excuses.'

It would be great to get the Bulldog rejects chant going tonite, the whole arena would be laughing at the Goophs, and that would be demoralizing for them...

Brandt needs to start again tonite, he is the man this year. He has been impressive and has improved a lot. In a series like this we need to go with our best goalie. If we get up by a couple of goals in the third, then JParise can see some ice time, but we need the big guy in there tonite. Starting a freshman in a game like this is very risky, just ask Briggs from MN. When we play teams like MT and AA, then we can start someone else, but Brandt is the best man for the job tonite, at least that is my opinion...

I was hoping Greene and Vanek would get it on, they seemed to be exchanging pleasentries on the ice a couple of times. The Greene Giant would have given Vanek a beat down that he would have never forgotten...
