AHAHAHA! That was the funniest radio broadcast I have ever heard! Someone should just wear boxing gloves in the crowd and hold up a sign calling Tim H. out. I wasn't too worried about the low SOG, because they were low for both teams and I'm sure BC is used to outshooting its opponents too. Re: Murray, I just think he should shoot more. It seems like he's always going for the perfect pass, so when he's racing toward the net with the puck, he'll suddenly put on the brakes and look to pass when sometimes it seems like he should just take the shot and hope for a good rebound if not a goal. I don't even want to talk about the PP. It was frustrating to watch.

I really didn't have much of a chance to hold up your signs, unfortunately. I thought they were funny though! We just went the cheap way with the Flutie cutout, so don't worry about paying me Yane. PCM printed his face off the computer, and i made a homemade cardboard figure with a Sioux jersey over it. He was supposed to be the "enlightened" Doug Flutie as a Sioux fan, alternately waving at the crowd and, um gesturing toward the BC players. Unfortunately he got annoying for me to hold during the game, and PCM said he looked so lifelike it was hard to discern him from the students from a distance. It was a bust.

I also suggested "Headstrong" by Trapt when I emailed Tricia, the webmaster at theralph.com. "Back off, I'll take you on. Headstrong I'll take on anyone."

Why does everyone keep saying we're -1 on the PP? Both UMD and BC have scored SHG, and we have yet scored a PP goal. We are actually -2. After Brandt's spectacular glove save, and some other really good saves, I'd like to stick with him as #1. He played really well down the stretch last season, and it looks like so far he is continuing that play.

Actually, the more I think about it, REM's "Everybody Hurts" would be a great song to play during the succession of fights. Not really a song that gets you pumped up, but funny.

I talked to the assistant coach from Brown University tonight. Funny guy, he remembered me from last year. He was here recruiting SSM players, and said 3 of them have already visited their school. He's excited to come back here again for the Christmas tournament, and said it's set up so we'll meet them in the playoff game.

I took the picture that PCM gave me to Kinkos at 8:30 this morning, and unfortunately it sounded like they wouldn't be able to get the enlarged picture of Flutie made until tomorrow afternoon. He checked a list to see who was coming in today when I asked if it could be made by this afternoon, and he said probably not. Too bad I didn't get going on this sooner! Those signs would be hilarious if you want to print them up. Plus I sit a few rows behind the visitors penalty box, so all the better.

Speaking of pictures.... NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking about finally adding an avator, so naturally I decided to go for a picture of someone dear to my heart....Jon Durno. I go to look for his headshot on the Canisius website, and what do I find??? THIS PILE OF CRAP!! All that beautiful hair....gone! I no longer have the will to live.

Nope, but I looked into it. Kinkos can make a large poster, which I could just cut out and paste onto cardboard. I liked the Eaves-Dropping thing though.

They have a freshman who is 6'7"?? Good Lord, I thought we had some big guys on our team! PCM, find out where we can get cardboard cutouts and I'd gladly get one made.

Thanks. I just saw what happened afterward. That certainly wasn't the first time two players from the same team ran into each other so far this season.
