As far as I know, if a player transfers schools because their program ended, they don't have to wait out a year. So any UAH player will be able to finish the season with the Chargers, then drop right into any other school that wants them next season without having to sit out a year.

The rinks they build up for the Winter Classic and other outdoor games have cooling coils running through the ice just like indoor rinks. That's part of why it's so expensive, I'm sure.

I wish somebody could explain to me WHY showing the powerplay time is "soooo expensive". All they have to do is point one more camera at the powerplay clock that's already showing on the in-house scoreboard. Then show that camera on screen next to the other clock. It's no different than what they do during the intros where they have split screen stuff showing multiple players skating around during warmups.

Honestly, I've always been a bit curious about this. The banner that's hanging should be the one that was originally hoisted in the year it was won. That would mean it would have the logo from that time period on it.

I was wondering the same thing. After the latest vote I assumed I had more time to stock up on Sioux gear. Plus, didn't the athletic department already announce they're using the name this season?
