I'm not gloating about anything. I'm pointing out that Saints fans shouldn't act like they're the Patriots, Steelers or Cowboys with a deep history of championships. Instead, they have one Super Bowl win, due to blatantly breaking the rules, and their all time record is a stellar 44% winning percentage. Not exact the dynasty that you're making them out to be. Accept the fact that the Saints lost. It's over. Many plays could have gone either way. Penalties called, penalties not called. It's over. The Saints lost. Get over it.

And if it wasn't for the bounty program that the Saints coaches put together in 2009, they would still be without a Super Bowl, too. And still without so much as a Super Bowl appearance, even though they're only six years younger than the Vikings are.

So we're up 1-0? I'm not paying $9 for the game, and I can't really listen to it with my girls running around. I'd appreciate any updates from anybody.

Anybody else having NCHC.tv quality issues? It's been a few years since I've seen issues like the. The quality keeps dropping to something lower, and it's actually pausing every now and then.

Really? I didn't think the stick blade pulling his shoulder blades back really needed any extra embellishment. I think Gallo should have gotten an extra 10-minute misconduct for that one.

On initial look I completely agree. The text message exchange does seem pretty innocent. But I've heard stories from people who have worked there, and worked with people who still work there. Based on the stories I've heard about how people behave, it makes me believe that there's a lot that goes on there that shouldn't. Maybe this one woman overreacted, but there's plenty that goes on that has probably been kept quiet.

Surprised me, too. Especially since I keep thinking there's new news on committed recruits every time I see this thread pop up. And since I'm commenting here anyway, I just want to say I think some people aren't recognizing the difference between our "team" and our "program". SCSU's 2018-19 "team" is certainly playing better than UND's team. But to compare the entirety of the "programs", I think there can't really be any argument about how that discussion would end.

I initially heard he was likely going to be allowed to play in the WJC, but now I see they officially said he can't play in that.

They also don't know when they missed an offside call, which is really the purpose of the whole "defending team gained possession" rule change. So if a goal is scored, they'll review the tape going backwards until they either see the defending team gaining possession, or the attacking team enter the zone, either onside or offside. Then they'll know if it's a good goal or not. I would guess in most cases zone time isn't really all that long. The situation in last year's tournament game was definitely the exception rather than the rule, in that we held the zone for a long time before the goal was scored. And even that wouldn't take more than a minute to review to see if the other team gained possession during that time. It's only during a challenge that this looked at, anyway.
