This game is eerily similar to last night's Wild/Preds game.... Just sayin...

That was two years ago. Anybody who would have committed due to that team would still be in high school or juniors.

Root definitely didn't allow it. Denver's contract with Root Sports was in place before the NCHC formed and Root had exclusive rights to the broadcasts. I don't know about Altitude.

The ruling was that the goalie had the puck covered and was pushed into the net. I admit I was staring at the puck during the replays and not paying attention to who was making contact with Larkin.

Nice quick reflexes by Gardner to realize the puck popped out to him and to flip it in without any delay.

Going by the book, like they did last week, it seems like it should be a penalty shot.

Horrible call giving him a penalty shot! He did not have anywhere near the separation necessary for that call to be made.

Fox Sports says "Fighting Sioux vs. Badgers" on the screen. The announcer got it right (or wrong depending on your viewpoint) but whoever made the graphic kept with tradition.

What channel number are you seeing that on? Looking at the guide on directv.com I'm seeing channel 669 (FSN Wisc) for tomorrow at 7pm as Bucks @ Pistons. Interestingly, 662 (Fox Sportsline Ohio) shows UND @ Wisc. 669 is showing the game on Saturday, though. According to the guide.

I think it's much less exciting hockey to watch, too.
