Well, this is the 6th year of the game, and I guess it's just tradition for it to be played the Sunday after the tournament. This is going to be only my 2nd year playing, so one of the "old-timers" will have to speak to that.

Denver and CC were co-champs in 04-05, and Denver won the national title. In 96-97, UND and UM were co-champs and UND won the title. 89-90, Wisconsin won the Cup and the national title. 86-87, UND got both (Unless I missed something)
