I haven't been any problems with the broadcast at all. It hasn't so much as hiccuped all night.

Listening to audio in Windows Media Player shows swirling colorful graphics. Very 70's-ish.

Even though it was short, that was an impressive interview with Gregoire. He was really comfortable in front of the camera. I have a feeling the media is going to like him.

Oh man, now that you mentioned it. Definitely!

Remember Frattin's goal in the exhibition last year? It was a 2-on-1 with Duncan on the other side. He took a similar shot to that the one Gregoire just took. Always good to see the freshman scoring early on.

Another Power Play!!

Another year goes by and WDAZ still can't figure out how to display the powerplay time on the screen.

That one isn't as big of a deal to me as the obstruction calls are. As long as they don't add the stupid trapezoid behind the net into the college game.

I must have missed hearing about that new rule. If a team ices the puck, they aren't allowed to make a line change on the stoppage. Same as the in NHL.

So how long do the refs actually call the game NHL-style (based on the new NCAA rules)? I give it no more than a couple weeks before they go back to standard WCHA reffing.

There's just something that makes me laugh about Genoway and Finley on the same line.

Normally doesn't each goalie get one period? From the pre-game interviews it sounded like the new guy (can't remember his name), might not get any ice time and it'll be just Walksi and Eidsness.

After logging in, it automatically opens the media window. I had to close that window and open it again by going to the schedule of live broadcasts and clicking on the broadcast from there. Kinda stupid, but after closing and reopening the window it worked.

Webcast or on Satellite? I can't get either audio or video webcast working. EDIT: Got the audio working! Video link isn't active yet.

A good runback and we can tie the game....

Considering we get the "hold" music when the feed goes out, I'm going to guess it's something at the stadium that's the issue, and not Clear Channel. I'm pretty sure we've had issues like this and it was an internet connection issue at the stadium that was the problem.

Now it sounds like the refs didn't call the grounding call until they were yelled at by the SELA coaches. That's weak.
