So did I miss something that happened around here this past summer? These game threads, even for home games, used to be so much more active. Now we're going minutes at a time without any posts.

I don't know if it's because I'm watching on a bigger TV since it's on NHL Network, but it seems like the intensity is the highest so far this season.

I've got that guy on my fantasy football team. He has outscored Peyton Manning. Everybody thought I was crazy when I had him starting.

That's why I think we're just getting the scoreboard feed. Besides the graphics, the cameras are jumping angles too quickly, and are zoomed in way too close most of the time.

They must just be using whatever video feed goes on the scoreboard. Otherwise this is really, really poor camera work.

You're exactly right. It's unfortunate, though, because I can't blame the ref for making the call, but I can't blame Duncan for giving himself the body positioning that he did.

I'm not sure I agree with this. Watching the replays on TV it looked like Duncan was just following the Mav player around the net, reaching toward the puck, and the Mav player lost an edge and went down. I can understand how it looked like a hook at full speed, but it didn't look like Duncan actually make a move on the player's body to pull him down.

How do you get goaltender interference at the 20:00 mark of the 3rd when the puck was near center ice when at the buzzer?

Wasn't really a huge brawl. Lasted about 10-15 seconds, Jones took a guy down hard, that's all I saw on TV. They said VV was getting into with a guy, but it calmed down very quickly. Nothing like when Fabian and Lee got into all out fights with the guys a couple years back.

FIGHT!!! VV kinda took a run at a guy right at the buzzer. I didn't really see it, but things died down already. Nothing like at the Ralph a couple years ago.

Goal is under review, but the tv says it's definitely a goal. No question at all. it IS goal!!
