The win at St Cloud last nite was a AWESOME exhibition of a "refuse to lose attitude" this team seem to inspire last nite.
Was at the game, it was dominated by the Sioux for for 37 minutes or so.... always up between 8-15 points. They got a start now of how to get the monkey off their back and how to hold on and finish the last 5 minutes of a game.
Most impressed with how the Coaching staff was able to handle the short bench with injury to Doyle and disciplinary action for the Youmans and Lehnertz . It shows the Coach Jones and his staff are going to run a program will can all be proud of, do things the right way all the time, and nobody is bigger than the TEAM.
In my 27 years of watching Sioux Basktball this win ranks up there along with some of the most impressive. St Cloud is a top regional team and a tough place to play (ask Roebuck).
Congrats Boys, keep up the hard work.

Is that big, and likes to run, back-up Florida Gator QB transferring in?
The Sioux still have good chances I am told on the following...
Tavorrius Jackson- DB / SS
Vermillion C.C.
6' 4" 210# Runs 4.5 Forty
Brother of Brady Jackson Atalanta Falcons
Others interested Illinois, Wisconsin,Minnesota, UNI
(This young man would be a difference maker)
Matt Veldman- TE / WR
Becker County
6' 7" 220#
His dad Mike Veldman played with Dale Lennon in the 80's , He was one of the best TE / Receivers ever at play at UND.
His son Matt has a boat load of potential and Huge upside...
Others interested Minnesota, NDSU and ??
Lets hope the Sioux can top this class off with these two...

I'm guessing around 100 Bills for a season....7-8 per month
I belong to CSTV for UNI...
ISU Cyclone Vision....
All I'm guessing will be about the same, will get video from scoreboard feed only, and hopefully radio from a new internet feed, UND is now in the big time, I welcome the upgrade I just hope they can provide what they are selling this time.
No more freebies...everything will be pay to hear or view.
-
I am not sure anyone knows who is being so called "Punished".....
Need a good laugh go to Bisonville and read their tread on 2007 scheduling.....Its right below the thread about who is going to pay for their Mythical National 1AA Championship Rings...(LOL)...?
-
I remember Toby Kvalavog (sp?)...letting one in..
-
Robbie deserves everything he can get...what a inspiration....Also Great Pic on the Front Page Sports on Saturday Gf Herald.
Nice Job Robbie....
GO SIOUX!!!

Another tough for for the men, they compete hard til the very end and never seem to quit, I like what Coach Jones and his staff has brought out of these guys...
1 point game last nite with a minute or so to play....Just need to get over the HUMP.... Really think these guys could do some damage at the NCC Tourney...
Also looking ahead...Wait til next YEAR..!

It's kind of interesting that according to an Augie fan on the d2football.com board, Anderson had committed to Augie about a week ago. I have no idea whether that's true or not.
My concrete sources tell me that he visited Augie and liked it, But liked UND better and is committed to come be a Sioux. The scholarship offer for DeAngelo Anderson has now been withdrawn by UND....
Apparently DeAngelo did commit to both Schools and Both Head Coaches, I am told he is a good kid and that the Sioux did want him.....His high school coach is a Augie alum.........But as of now UND has withdrawn their scholarship offer.
If he does end up at Augie will remain to be seen....

You guys just picked up another verbal from Racine Park (WI) offensive lineman Matt Simmons (6-foot-5, 315).
This is huge, what a class the Sioux have put together so far....
Did hear Matt weighed in around 330#, but if I know when our strength guys get him going he will play around 300 and be a monster.
-
played hard.... up by as many as 12 in 2nd half....disapointing
wait til the ncc tourney.....
mankato now 19-1...
71-65 final
-
down 2...30 seconds left....
missed shot...
mankato rebound...
10 seconds left...
mankato now up 4...
turn over UND
game over
-
4:36 left Sioux up by 1...
playing hard, mankato coming on strong
-
54-44 UND men up 11:44 to play
-
How about Bruce Smith (current dean of the school of aviation, and former Sioux football player)?
By far and away the best canidate, reminds me of our former president and leader Tom Clifford.
Bruce Smith gets my VOTE!!!!
-
My concrete sources tell me that he visited Augie and liked it, But liked UND better and is committed to come be a Sioux.

I emailed the "Higher Ups" and told them of my dis- pleasure...We will see where that goes...?
You are right about the Handicap seating some of those people can not protect themselfs from a flying Basketball , let alone a flying Player..? and it was real nice to block their view entirely with the chairs in front.
I'm missing something here when people out of no-where get a chair right in front of paying FSC members ??
It seems to be all about the Benjamins.....My 20 plus years of giving must not be enough..?
-
Our attendance is sure to rise thru the roof now that they put those 40 chairs right in front of my sight line to the court.....
College educated administrators at thier best....?
-
Shawn-O...
Last I heard on De Angelo Brackins from I-Falls is that he will enroll at Rainy River CC to play football next year.
This was a hard decision for him, but best for his educational purpose and family at this time, UND could get him later on down the road..
The young man is a good athlete that could play on either side of the ball.
