    Dave Hakstol. Maybe you've heard of him.:silly:

    Thank You! Can't believe I forgot Dave...? But I consider him a "Coach Blais" hire, Roger Thomas made the right choice and Coach Hak has proven himself very well.

    I have little faith in the current adminstration to make the right choices , when it comes to the history and legacy of the Sioux Sports Family....

    Example was Basketball interview process, No reflection on Coach Jones (He I believe, has done and will continue to do a graeat job) but no UND grads or ties to program even received interviews....?

    Steve Johnson from the Lincoln Stars? Ha. That would never happen.

    If Steve was offered he would really look hard at it...I here he wants it and a move back to the Forks!

    But then when was the last time we hired anyone with a UND education...?

    That is more than quailified and bleeds green..?

    My personel opinion if this coach does not have UND ties, we missed the boat again.

    Looking ahead in that div 1 crystal ball...(10-12 years from now)

    If we are lucky enough to get into the Mid-Con or Big Sky...

    Then lucky enough to Win the conference tourney...

    We can then get hammered by a BCS conference camp like Oral Roberts and Weber State did today...

    Bright side plan a spring golf trip, or there will always be Hockey..!

    Watched the Title Game on CSTV....Mayville outplayed Mid American in the 1st half...Just did not have the Horses to hold on.

    Although it would have been interesting if Mayville could have shot better in 2nd half...Looked like a lid on the basket at there end...

    Congrats to Coach Smith.... and Local Product Matt Stenjhem on a GREAT YEAR!

    I would be one of those angry callers. I'm still looking for the bumped episode of "The Office" that Class A slow (girls') basketball bumped.

    Sorry, but I'm a "Lostie." You can always tape-delay the game.

    I believe the 1990 and 1991 men's Elite 8, and the 1998, 1999 and 2001 women's Elite 8 games were all televised by WDAZ, but after the football playoff game vs. UNO wasn't televised despite all past road playoff games being on, it's hard to predict what might happen with regard to tv.

    I know they are working on it.....Hopefully it works out.

    From what I saw on the internet, they only named four: Fisher from UNK, Kimbrough, Langen and MVP Maffin! There had to be more but...... I suppose they were players not in attendance.

    All-North Central Region Team:

    Kelsey Maffin, UND (Most Outstanding Player)

    Kierah Kimbrough, UND

    Ashley Langen UND

    Liz Fischer, Nebraska-Kearney

    Katie LaViolette, Concordia-St. Paul

    I really felt Chrissia Jahner, and Danni Guinn were derserving also.....

    It's hard to know what to make of Kearney. On the one hand, you obviously can't deny that they've won two games they weren't expected to win to reach this point. However, Augie was coming off a home loss to Omaha, and clearly wasn't the same team we saw in Grand Forks a month ago. Concordia-St. Paul had a nice season in the NSIC, but they played three close games this year with Moorhead, who we saw was nowhere near the caliber of the Sioux. I guess the bottom line is that to me, beating the Sioux on their home court is a whole different thing from beating a struggling Augie or a good-but-not-great Concordia-St. Paul in close games on a neutral court. If UND plays a solid game tonight, I'm pretty confident they'll be heading to the Elite 8 for the first time since 2001.

    I'm debating, if I should go

    I've only made 5 womens games this year Northern at home, Augie at home, St Cloud on the Road...(All Bad)

    On the good side USD and Duluth at Home..(Good)

    Hope I'm not a Jinx..?

    Maybe it would help if I coached UNK, I heard thier Coach went into labor this afternoon....?
