    Any new Division 1-AA schools?

    Are there any schools in Wisconsin/Michigan/Minnesota/Iowa considering moving to Division 1-AA?

    It will be interesting how the NCAA handles the landscaping changes that have been occuring the last ten years with Schools going 1AA /Div1....

    I think around ten years ago there were only around 80 or so 1AA football programs now the Class 1AA out numbers the Div 1 Football programs...(See Link)

    I do not believe that the Major BCS conferences will continue the splitting up of the Cash Pie sort to speak, especially when it comes to Div1 Basketball and the NCAA tournament...?

    I do not think as a athlete, coach or fan it is good to accept losing, that being said there is I believe a HUGE difference from Losing giving it your best efforts and what happened to the UND Women.

    That was by far and away not their best effort as a Team, that includes everyone! My guess is that they feel the same way.

    Great Season, can not wait til next year!

    Going to miss Jahner's heart, drive, and determination....

    Just watching the replay, and there is absolutley no other reason for Hensick to get the 10 min, other than opening his mouth to the referee...?

    Fact at the 12:45 mark he gives a elbow to the chin a sioux player, that the announcers noticed....

    He just needed to keep his mouth shut and play HOCKEY!

    Feel your pain, but dealing with Fox or ESPN is absolutely a joke, they are starting to protect everything these days...

    Like it would hurt anyone to put College Hockey up on a Direct Tv or Dish Alternate...

    Ice and Cheese Good Luck, I will not debate the legallity of this free airwave debate, I use to own a Bar and did what I could when I could to get the"Game"....

    And I am not aware of the equipment Sensers has, I remember the days of the the Big Spinning Dish...!

    Good Luck!..... Hope they can......This blackout and delay stuff is BS!

    That sounds like a challenge for the gang @ sensers to pull in the game. They've done it before maybe they will surprise us, anything is possible.

    They won't even be able to do this one legally or otherwise.....

    Since the game is being picked up live locally (ND and MN) is there going to be a webcast for those of us that can't get the TV coverage (I am currently in the south and finding a TV not on basketball is impossible):glare:

    I see the school has an audio link, but no video up as of yet. Thanks for any input.

    I doubt that Fox Sports or Espn that controls this broadcast and feed will allow any web cast of this Game...

    I know that Mid-continent Cable had to give up all the rights of the 1st born male children, just to get the approval for the Local viewing areas...

    Fox Sports is not going to let this be shown live in the MPLS viewing area because their contract with the NHL Wild.

    Good call by both Sioux MD and Walrus. After the first 5-6 min of the game the girls would bring the ball down, get a pass and their first look was to pass to someone else. They had the deer in the headlights look. Same look they had when St. Cloud beat them. They weren't looking to score. We were tentative and that caused us to turn it over. We needed someone who wanted to have the ball in their hands when the going got tough. We also didn't do a good job of getting the ball to Kimbrough. She sat out too much of the first part of the second half. Also in the second half, there were four or five times when Langen was either alone or poorly guarded and no one noticed. She left the open area 10 ft from the bucket to screen out near the 3 pt line. Langen is a force underneath but is a lot slower this year than the last two years. Her opponent blew right by her twice in the second half and she couldn;t get to the loose ball like she used to. I was impressed with the fact that they didn't quit and worked hard. The Bergan kid added spark and I think will be a great point guard. Kimbrough can be one of the best if not the best big kid we have had. Great season. Bad time to have a bad game. Great careers for Mafin and Jahner.

    Exactly Right!

    Saw 5 regular season games this year 3 looses and 2 wins, Unfornuately the Team that showed last nite was the Northern State, Augie, St Cloud Away team...Great Year, but It hurts I am sure when you loose not playing your best that is what is hard to accept.

    Still no really official announcment from WDAZ or UND are they going to wait at the very last minute to tell us? After the women's game was over pat never siad either way if the games were going to be on FSSN all he said was see ya next season. Does he really have any control over this?

    This has nothing to do with WDAZ.....You guys need to Thank Butch Moteberg at Mid-Continent Cable in Grand Forks...

    He has done this every year for us Sioux Fans....It cost him alot of Favors and $ to provide this signal live....

    People like Fox Sports and ESPN are not always easy to deal with.

    Butch is the one that got this done!
