  1. Do we have any idea what next year's schedule will be? We will still play an NCC schedule, right? But how about non-conference. Are there any D1-aa teams that will be on the schedule? Thanks. ;)

  2. Notre Dame has only one loss and it was to the 2nd ranked team in the nation. They should be ranked higher than all of those frauds from the overrated SEC conference.

I agree. USC lost to Oregon State and if I am not mistaken OS was not even ranked, yet USC is still in front of Notre Dame. I do like the BCS system but it appears there are faults in the way the rankings are obtained.

  3. I don't know if it would require knocking the stadium down entirely. Assuming the University ever needs to do this it is because there is a need to provide seating for 20,000+ spectators for football games. I'd leave the west side bleacher seating intact, as is, and designate it for students, visitors, and general admission. Complete the full bowl or horseshoe, whatever is required, around the stadium with reserved bucket seating and with luxury boxes on the east and north sides. In an outdoor stadium, luxury boxes will generate much more revenue than in a domed stadium.

It seems to me the west side bleachers could be left alone. The track could be removed and the whole field could be moved west so that it is closer to the west bleachers. Take a look at the sattelite picture on google maps.

  4. Much as I hate to say it, UND probably won't be competitive with NDSU for the top in-state/area recruits for probably 3-5 years. Once UND increases its scholarships to the point where full rides are offered, it will help, but until the period of playoff ineligibility is close to being over, things will be tough.

Yea, that is about what I thought. Lets hope that the recruiters find some hidden jems.

  5. Where did the interlocking "ND" (for North Dakota, in this case) come from? Did North Dakota use it first or did Notre Dame? I have thought it was interesting that they both use a very simmilar logo. Thanks.

P.S. Personaly I would rather see North Dakota use the old "S" with the tomahawks.
