Last night a fan held a sign that said "now what wilbur" (or something like that). Any explanation for that sign? I figure the kid holding it was rider06 from ss.com and it was directed at wilbur from ss.com ??

DLC vs GPR was a good game. Lots of DL fans were there, but just a handful of GPR. DL goalie Danny Groves named player of the game. He had some awesome saves. Congrats to Coach Al Henry and the rest of his crew and the players for a 3rd place finish. They had a very good tournament. I'm hoping that Dannys 6-0 game against Bismarck in the 1st round is the tournaments only shut out. YEAH SATANS/FIREBIRDS !!!

I was at the game. The students for FS amounted to about 50. Those were the ones in the stands with the cheerleaders. GPR brought the whole town. The noise level when GPR made a goal/good play was LOUD. FS...not so much. But thats how it's been the whole year. GO SATANS!!

Clean up that scooter when you are done running over Sioux-cia. The blood stains are one thing, but that red dust from Arizona will wreak havok with your engine.

The coach doesnt use all the d-men he has. There are a couple sitting on the bench all the time.

About the same scenario as the story behind the Devils Lake Satans. Had to change the name because they thought Satans was associated with devil worshiping...whatever. The student body was assigned to come up with 3 replacement names to vote on. I think those were Thunder, Blaze and Firebirds. The students voted for Blaze. They then had to vote again because the schoolboard heard that Blaze is slang for marijuana. Therefore...Firebirds. Is everybody happy now? I doubt it. GO SATANS!!
