Hey JFR, Sitting tight here in ND. My son and his friend went to St. Cloud, but at 22, they are much more daring than their mothers. I'd would have liked to go, but will be home listening to it on the radio. Maybe will have to watch BC and NH, but the Class B girls basketball tournament is on TV, too. That will come before BC. OK So none of you have figured out what I'm asking. It has NOTHING to do with the Mr. Hockey stuff. Is Askew playing somewhere? Does he work at a bank? WHAT IS HE DOING?? Does Murphy work somewhere around here? I know he was doing some stuff with the Manvel park board. Is he still doing that? I'm just wondering WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

Didn't say Paul Murphy sucked. He won Mr. Hockey, played for the Sioux, then what. After he coached in Dickinson, does anyone know what he is doing? My "point" was...where is he now. Geeze. BTW, I don't know who Brandon Askew is, so I can't comment on him.

Don't mean this as a slam, but Paul Murphy was Mr Hockey. Yeah, he played for the Sioux (for a while)...but where is he now?

Did anybody see the poster of the Hockey Angel at the Purpur arena? It was hanging on the east end, during EDC anyway. I think they should have that made into a permanent hanging for the arena.

As an employer of many high school/college students, I can't even imagine how many times I have heard them use that phrase. I remember the first time I heard it though. I asked the kid that said it what it meant.

Right now I'm watching the Class B girls basketball games on ch 11. Minnewaukan-Leeds is playing Bowman County. I love hockey, but class B basketball is fun to watch too. Boys and girls. Class A regionals in GF was postponed until tomorrow.

What happens with the schedule if the guys can't make it to St. Cloud? Do they re-schedule for mid-week? Forget it?

I've been to the X for the F5 and for a NHL game. I think it is a very nice arena, and I've had fun each time I've been there. Sure the Ralph is awesome, but you arent going to find that type of a building every 500 miles. About the laser show...it's boring. They need something new.
