  1. Yes she did. Gave birth to a baby boy, and 5 hours later was at the Betty to help coach her team, although she left most of the coaching to her assistant. Thats committment.
  2. Phew!! For a second there, I thought you were talking about me! Good thing I'm in the same row as you.
  3. That sounds fun. (The tattoo part...oh, and breakfast, too ) I'll talk to Sioux-cia and see what she thinks. Will get back to ya.
  4. I'm having a flashback, JFR. I did that to my son when he was about the same age. My brother was a senior that year and I put him in some of my brothers hockey gear. Now...my brother and Joe Finley are the same size, so finding the little tyke was a challenge. Fun pic though.
  5. It;s right outside the Xcel, in the courtyard area across from the Hotel St. Paul (I'm pretty sure, anyway).
  6. The season ticket holders have the playoff tickets included in their package. I don't know if they are more than regular season games. I really didn't answer your question, did I.
  7. And we all know Mankato is going to bring on the cheap stuff.
  8. If anyone else is wondering about tickets, there were LOTS of empty seats at last nights game. Should be able to get them at the door.
  9. My question, that goes with your #9. How long till the Mavs look for a fight, to get some game DQ's for Saturday night? Will our guys take the bait?
  10. Outside by the statue of Herb? Too bad we aren't closer to campus. Would be fun to take it with Goldies statue. Maybe we can get the real Goldie!
  11. I agree with Dave. A basketball town is the one that has basketball and football as their main sprots. Class B schools come to mind. Minnewaukan, Bottineau, Mayville, Thompson and many co-op schools I dont know the names of. The whole town is there to back them up at games, and if they make it into regionals or state..the last one out of town, turns the lights off. You may see that in Grafton, too, but they are a hockey town first.
  12. Hope all his tests come back good. We are pulling for you , David.
  13. Without reading the whole thread...and because I just don't know: How is it decided who goes to the Final 5? The five teams that win this weekends series? The top five teams in the WCHA, after this weekend? I thought I knew, but then heard something else.
  14. I found the list of everybody that has a jersey. Should I send out a PM to all, so maybe we can set something up for a picture at the F5?
  15. Can you just post the pics on here for us? Pleeeeeeaasssssse?
  16. Yeah! A baby shower for "The Creature Within".
  17. I thought I had heard once that some of the criteria for Mr. Hockey included: A decent GPA extra cirricular activities (other than hockey) community service time (and not the kind for punishment) hockey skills (of course) leadership skills on and off the ice There are probably more, but these are some that were discussed.
  18. Does anyone know what the requirements are (if any) for a minimun GPA for the Mr. Hockey award?
  19. Except it was Friday, not Saturday.
  20. I heard the Ralph is in negotiations with PCM...saturday nights 2nd intermission entertainment.
  21. JFR, You look frozen in that picture. You must have been out there way too long!
  22. I know what you are talking about. Sometimes my 2 younger kids mistake each other for punching bags! This is how it usually ends up when they get in trouble: And this is me:
