Exactly, it is only OK when they think it will benefit them. If the name Sioux is so bad then they should keep it out of their advertisements for their casino's, Hypocrites. Once again St. Clown should clean up their own house before complaining about someone else's. Their little hate crimes have been going on for a ling time.

They can't say Sioux, but I am sure they all went to there "Third Reich" party following the game. THat is such a joke. I am wondering if anyone had any problems with the protesters outside. A few years ago I saw a SCSU student call a 60 year old lady a racist and push her to the ground for having a Sioux jersey on. Want to talk about someone who needs an ass kicking.

Did not have time to read all 15 pages, but I thought the Sioux dominated the first 2+ periods, but as soon as the 1st goal went in for SCSU it is like they feel apart. I am sure others have said the same thing. It is just my opinion, but I think it is time to give Lammy the night off and let him refocus. Overall I am disappointed but not too worried. i still think this team has a chance. One last thing, do I hear right that Oshie lost his "A". Can someone fill me in please.

I think we all need to get back to what is important about the Sioux, a weekend series against a conference team that has huge implications to the Sioux's season. So lets stop talking Oshie and start talking about a big weekend in the WCHA. Go Sioux!!!!

SCSU really needs to shut their mouths. They have had enough trouble lately. What are they protesting, the NCAA has said that UND is not on the list anymore. I just think people need a reason to bitch. I was also told by a former student at SCSU that som professors offer extra credit to students that protest the Sioux when they come to town. The person I talked to said one professor even went as far as to say that if you protest UND you will get an automatic "A" for the class. Well if I know college students, I would protest for an hour, hold a dumb sign and collect my "A".

I guess figuring out who is is putting the swastika's around there campus is OK with them. But god forbid the Sioux would come to town. THey need to get their own house in order before they should worry about the sioux!. The term glass houses comes to mind.

THe other thing that could happen is a plea arrangement. Lets see how this could go, TJ you were a bad boy and instead of cahrging you, you are going to do an 8 hour hockey camp for the youth in GF. TJ says I'll do that, case dropped, TJ had a beer and we all go to Denver to watch #8 for the Sioux!

I think that this whole thig is being blown WAY out of proportion. It is not that big of a charge. Does anyone have specifics to the reasons for the charge, if not we need to relax untill we know more. Maybe the DA will look at the whole picture and say, WOW no need to proceed any further, charges dimissed. Or maybe TJ can pay his $100 fine and be done with it. Come one lets get back to what matters, the Sioux playing a conference sereis and we need the points. Go Sioux!

OK after reading everything in this thread, I must say that I think that people are making way to much out of this. Disorderly Conduct is such a minor thing. I was charged with this as a minor, and it was a charge just to charge me with something. A person threw a party at my house while my parents were out of town, and I got into to it with this person. Not one punch was thrown and it was nothing more then a minor confrontation and because other people thought it might end in a fight they called the cops and we were both charged with D.C. As I said it is no big deal. I love watching Oshie and I am really wishing I could get a ticket to saturdays game so I can cheer him on. Go Sioux.

I know that I also saw that this game is on CSTV. I hope so, I can't afford to go to the game this time. Just graduated,no job and no more student loan money to let me go to games.

OETKB you peed in your cherrios. Yes it sucks that they lost, but is december not april. This is still a good team with lots of potential. i have every confidence that they will be in contention come march and april. Just relax and remember the old cliche, " It is a marathon, not a sprint" It is a long season and I am sure all will be fine.

I did get one other thing I forget to mention. I went back to school a few years ago and I finally graduated college. Now I have to get a job. So I am finally done with school.

WOW they have a grand total of 4 seminole students with 4 more coming, that is huge. What a joke. FSU is a much larger school then UND and they have 8 students that are of the namesake tribe. How many does UND have? Many more. That just goes to show, that the NCAA is more worried about money then anything

But they are not opposed to it, a few of the leaders are against it and they are making it a political stance and not listening to their citizens. The MAJORITY of Native Americans on the reservations are for the name, but their leaders are trying to make a name for themselves. Do you GET THAT!
