I talked to Coach Eades on Sunday, he was in Cedar Rapids doing some scouting I think. I just had a few seconds but I asked him how the team was going to be this year. He just smiled and said they will be just fine and not worry at all. I realize he has to believe that as a coach. But i really believed him. He was very nice. There was at least ten scouts there on sunday. I also Cristo play on saturday night here and he looked good but still needs to develop some.

Is there a link or any statement from KFAN? I looked at there website and it is now the Paul Allen show, no ore Dubay attached to it.

Does anyone know if there is video of VandeVelde's goal at the end of the game. I would really like to watch it again.

I am currently trying to sell my house, we are about to loose almost $40,000 on my house. I wish I could sell it for at least whet I paid, funny I was always taught that a house is your best investment, you will never lose on a house. I am losing huge.

I hope that Dubay truly gets help and gets it quickly. I have stated on here before. I have several members of my family that suffer from addiction, my dad died due to alcoholism. He just could not stop. I have a sibling who is going down the same path. I just hope people in this situation can get the help they need and lead a quality life without drugs and alcohol. Get Well Dubay!!!

I think that as much as people do not like what Dubay says about the Sioux. If these charges are true. I would hope that people would put rivalries aside and hope that the guy gets help. I think we shall wait until either charges have been filed or dropped. I for one wish him nothing but the best. I grew up with substance abuse problems all around me. Support is what people need. Not rival fans taking shots at them.

Is this for all sports or just hockey? Is the NCAA going to do this for the basketball tourney. I would love to see what those people would say about this. If you do it for one, then do it for all. Even college football. Bowl games should be regional. MN can't go to the rose bowl anymore! Notre Dame the NCAA darlings, what bowl are they going to go to every year,even when they don't deserve one. They are all to far away. But that is where the money is made the she the NCAA will look they other way with basketball and football.

I do not believe I am doing this, but I agree with you about Zacharias. He is very underrated, but he does not have a lot in front of him which still means teams can score on them. Just my opinion

What is with all the damn negativity on ss.com lately. it is two games. We are all bummed, but it is the Icebreaker. Give these guys some time to learn the new players. I think that this team will be just fine. I think we sweep this weekend and have a stronger first half of the season then the last few years. Go Sioux. I do not think it would be fun to be in a locker room with Hak if they are playing bad. I got a feeling he lights them up pretty good. I think that they will be fine. I just think they are starting really slow this year. A lot of new line and trying to learn each other during a game.
