So true. Do you think our modern day players' offensive production can be fairly compared to Hrkac's 116 points and Bob Joyce's 52 goals in a single season? Or Greg Johnson's 272 points in a career?

The Sioux had some real offensive firepower during the 89-91 years--G Johnson, Dixon Ward, Jeff McLean, Eisenhut, Bombadir. They just didn't have the whole roster, though, including goaltending

You have to think Blais will be fired before the tournament begins, with the way his team has collapsed down the stretch. Sandelin could be gone too. Maybe gfhockey can get them jobs running errands on the patch. I wonder if they know how to drive stick shifts.

Me too. If this were a best of 3 or 5 format, I'd want the weaker team first, but in this tournament random causes play such a role in determining outcomes that I don't really care who we play or on what order.

If any team is good enough to go deep, let's play them right away. No use putting it off.
