The Refs should be embarrassed, and hopefully will be changed out for tomorrow... -Both Shepherd and Hunt miss the stick to Mario's face in the first couple of minutes... play goes on...no powerplay for UND. -Two dives by C-Piss, and two power play goals for the Rodents -At least two "missed" (ignored) tripping penalties on the Rodents late in the third period. -And don't forget the phantom penalty on Hextall....for being Hextall! The Sioux should have had a long 5 on 3 powerplay which would have been huge! I'm beginning to believe the "tin foil hat" conspiracy theory.... Total Bull$hit one sided officiating... I'm sure I have forgotten to list a couple others too. -And Redwing...Why would VV "dive" feet first into the boards at a pretty good clip? That's right, he wouldn't...no dive there.

The whistle wasn't blown by the ref that was in position beside the net. He obviously saw that the puck wasn't frozen, and immediately pointed it a goal when it went in. The ref that did blow the whistle should have seen that the other ref was in better position and wasn't blowing his whistle..... bad break.....

I gotta wonder if maybe the intellectual giant known as Huskie is somehow related to Mpls Bison. -Huskie hangs out in the hockey threads, while Bison Boy hangs out in the Nickname and Summit League threads. But they are very similar in that they both have repetitive, boring and tiresome arguments that they cannot substantiate with proof. The only difference is how they view video: -Huskie can't comprehend what the video really shows, but at least he's watching hockey videos. -Bison Boy only watches Bison Basketball flood promo videos, most likely with a sticky keyboard and lots of tissues.

Simon and Garfunkel won't be a money maker in Fargo either. I'm surprised they would book that. Remember, the F-Dome took a bath on the Eagles concert too, so it's not only the Alerus that loses money on some well known acts....

Inconclusive? There is nowhere in that video where Knight elbows him in the head. The video is pretty clear. She should see that if she has actually looked at it. She also just assumes that he got a black eye because of it, because someone said it was so. The Duluth players didn't act like it was a cheap shot, and Sandelin certainly didn't either. Just because Pate, or whoever the beat writer is, said it was a cheap shot doesn't make it one. Now Knight is going to be getting called everytime he so much as looks at somebody wrong, which is totally bunk.

Since there is no evidence in the video that shows that it did happen, I would expect her to say nothing. It sounds like a gossip column and she's spreading rumors because someone else said it happened... So you think that its alright because she prefaces it by saying that there's "talk" that that's how it happened? That's BS....pure speculation, and the video evidence contradicts the "implied" accusation.

Did anyone else read Teresa Spisak's latest pile of crap on USCHO yet? Her article is about head injuries, and says that Corban Knight elbowed Connolly in the head and gave him a black eye when his head hit the glass "even though the video replay didn't clearly show it". Wow....what video was she looking at? Nice speculation...that video showed nothing of the sort. And as I stated in another thread, his black eye could have come anytime. There's no way she could prove that it came from that check. That really pi$$es me off. I'm not a member over there (after getting booted years ago), or I would have let her have it...so hopefully one of you that is on USCHO will take care of it...What a crock!

On another positive note, No Fast Eddie Schultz show promo yet!!! Just a few more days and I won't have to watch MSNBC again until the next Olympic games

I'm thinking everyone should take a couple of minutes to flood his mailbox with messages to let him know how we feel. (No profanity please, which will be tough for me) I'm going to forward on the Virg Foss article to him as well. If nothing else, it will drive him crazy everytime he has to clear them out on his BlackBerry, as I'm sure he's traveling today. I do find it odd that he doesn't have an actual WCHA email address. It says alot that he actually uses a DU email account.

If you start cheering for the Rodents, only bad things can happen. The Sioux finally opened the flood gates offensively last weekend, and things are looking up. So cheering for the Rodents, under any circumstances, can only bring on some bad JuJu and will end up jinxing the Sioux..... Since I hate the Rodents more than any team in any sport at any level, there is absolutely no way I can cheer for them no matter who they are playing. So.... here is a scenario that I think all true Sioux fans can live with. - Sioux take care of business, which is the most important thing anyway, sweeping Duluth. - CC sweeps the Rodents, or at the worst splits. - That would almost certainly knock the Rodents out of the NCAAs, which is huge since they host a regional....AGAIN!! I just want to make sure those dirty ba$tards have no chance of scumming out and getting in the tourney in their own back yard. - I get satisfaction in seeing them miss the playoffs for 2 years in a row when they would carry the home ice advantage. - I get more satisfaction in not seeing the Rodents at the Final 5 after they lose to a tough first round opponent on the road. - The next week we sweep at CC, which puts us in a tie at the worst, with the Sioux holding the Tie breaker. - The final weekend, Sioux Sweep Tech. - DU Sweeps CC (as much as I would normally hate it) - The Sioux end up with home ice for the WCHA playoffs, The Rodents end up with a tough first round match up, probably miss the Final Five, and have no way to get into the NCAAs - And no Sioux fans will have to burn in Hell for cheering for the Rodents If you have a better scenario, I'm all for it as long as I don't have to cheer for the Golden Turd Burglars!

Maybe Standing Rock hasn't scheduled a vote yet because they are glued to their televisions, undoubtedly mesmerized by watching the Bison Basketball "flood fight promo" over and over and over, thanks to the magic of Tivo....

I see that in the "NDSU - UND GAME 2010" thread, you admit that even with a crappy team this year, all the Bison BB team has to do is win the Summit Tournament to get into March Madness again. That statement is actually true, and unlike any of the other one's you have been making here, it can be proven. The problem is that when you made the statement, you also admitted the obvious: That the Summit is a weak league and that any weak sister school could probably end up winning it and getting the magical auto-bid for a cameo appearance in the NCAA tourney. So how then, can last year's Bison BB team possibly be the greatest North Dakota sports team ever? Yeah...that's right, they can't! Thanks for contradicting yourself. Now.... how's that search to prove those other brilliant statements you've made recently going? You said that you don't have time or internet search prowess to prove your statement on the TV ratings.... so why don't you start with your statement that every single Division 1 BB recruit has been promised that they will play in an auto-bid conference. All you will have to do is ask every Division 1 recruit and coach at every Division 1 school in the country. You're an intellectual giant... I'm sure you can do it.
